Wouldn't we all.I would be interested in an answer here.
Neither have I, but I can tell you it's NOT the way it should be.NORMAL AS IN HERES YOUR TEN GEARS GET USED TO IT. NOW IVE NEVER OWNED A VEHICLE W 10 GEARS SO MAYBE ITS JUST HOW IT IS.
My 2022 Lariat is doing the same thing. I cannot get a service appointment until August 2.Only had my truck for 5 days, and this started day 2.
Stays in 8'th gear when slowing down to take a curve, when accelerating out it hard shifts to third with a big bang!
I also have come to a full stop with it in 8'th, put it in park then back to drive says gear 1, then back to 8'th (slow going) then a hard shift back to 3'rd with a bang.
Scary!
Hello there, Could you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to take a closer look at your shifting concerns.Only had my truck for 5 days, and this started day 2.

I survived, and mine does the same thing as yours. So riddle me this? (Off topic). Getting ready to exit highway ramp and 3/4 of a mile before the end I drop into neutral and expect the RPMS to drop accordingly as If I was at a stop light typically around 600rpms. Now in neutral coasting down the highway ramp the rpm’s match the speed and never drop to 600rpms as expected they would in any other vehicle. So is my engine really turning those RPMS in neutral or is it a glitch based on vehicle speed?
