Spray in Bed-liner options

Did not do factory spray in liner to prevent potential delays. Scheduled for production week of May 9. There is a Line X literally just down the road from my dealer. The dealer said that they can send it to line x once the truck arrives. Or, I can take it there myself after I officially take delivery. Question is though if the dealer did it wouldn’t it be under warranty? Also either option I would pay for it cash. Would not bake cost into my note if I went dealer option

I would wait until you inspected truck and made sure everything is good. I would take it myself to have bed liner sprayed.

What is the dealer charging vs what linex charges? If it is the same price let the dealer mess with it.

Just decide if you want the bolts covered and the end of the tailgate. And you may need the TSB after the tailgate is removed.

I had my dealer get mine done. Not under Ford warranty but under the warranty of the spray in liner dealer/installer. The price was the same if I took it in or the dealer did. The dealer may have gotten a discount but I would never see that.

Dealer will charge $550. Not been able to get ahold of Line X for quote yet.

Or let everything calibrate itself as it does for most owners. May take a few weeks but for the most it eventually does (took mine three weeks).

For the basic cheapest option though. If you want premium or custom options, it's best to get it done yourself. If you don't care, then have the dealer do it.

My dealer sent the truck where I would have taken it anyways. I have had 3 trucks done by them and very happy with the work and the quality of the product.
