I have done linex in every single truck I've had and I've had a lot!
Six in the last five years.
This 2022 is the first that I've decided to NOT linex. I used my FordPass rewards and got the Bedrug impact bedmat+tailgate mat. My use on this truck is not loading lots of gravel or anything like that, moreso an oversized trunk with using a tonneau cover so keeping things from sliding is most important and it works really well.
I once had the full bedrug on a Lightning and it was very nice but again, that was a toy truck and was never used/abused.
