Truth! Coming from a 21 M550i..My 150Plat sled has and will never be anything even close to something realistic at 95mph. Tried it once in the 6 months ownership, depressing. Though this is the absolute worst forum for those who have a need for speed. Otherwise, buy a regular cab 4x4 5.0, drop and super charge to scratch the itch..

Not sure how you are putting yourself in these situations, guess I am just lucky in 30 years of driving I have never been in a place where I need to drive 100mph plus to avoid someone else who is driving aggressively.
I felt the same way about the need to carry a gun in my truck and was told I was a sheep and that I would be unable to protect my family.

I have found that driving the speed limit, while towing my trailer on 1-95, and staying in the right lane that all the road ragers quickly pass and are no longer an issue for me.

Not sure which way you are auguring this....but in my mind there is a huge difference between safely carrying a firearm for self protection and driving 100mph plus on public roads.

I have no issues with responsible gun owners carrying a weapon for self defense, in fact I have a CCDW and keep a pistol in the truck. Assuming the pistol is holstered and handled in a safe way it really shouldn't be looked as a threat to others.

Driving 100mph in traffic presents a danger to every innocent bystander on the road.

Totally different things.

You said that because of your responsible driving, you've never run into a situation that you've needed to drive recklessly to avoid road ragers. My point in the other thread was that because of my habits I have never encountered a situation that requires a gun. I was told in that thread that I was a sheep and my family would be unprotected because of me being naive.

Guns, driving excessively fast, whatever, if someone desires to get at you bad enough, they're going to. Don't give them a reason to.

112 is what my raptor is limited to. Want to remove it. My brothers 2022 raptor doesn’t have that limiter
