I just installed some LED projector headlamps and the high beams are always on. I cannot turn them off. I also have several DTC’s. Does anyone have any insight? @Livnitup @JScaro or anyone else?

I installed them as they were labeled, but I wondered if they were reversed as well. If I swap them (assuming they’re currently correct) would it hurt anything?

I got it from ryan industries and he did PMI it before hand.

I originally got this harness and thought the wiring was incorrect looking at the pin out, but I assumed I just didn't know what in the hell I was doing because I have never wired up a connector before. But looking at the diagram vs the connector, and with the issue I am having, I think it may actually be wrong. There are wires in holes that are "NOT USED" and some others missing wires that probably should have them, for example, but pins 6 and 14 have a wire running to them

To clarify, I was just made aware that with the projectors, both of them are on when running low, which I didn’t know, so I suppose it’s possible that the high beams just won’t turn on

The harness doesnt look correct to me. You have quad LED>. Pin 6 is Lin bus for Quad LED but hte Projectr do not use Pin 6 they have pin 5 ru to the HCM it controls the High beam and bending.

That diagram isnt right you show either

Oh yeah.. Low beam does have both on. The top seem sa little dimmer than the bottom but yes both are on.

So when you turn the high beams on do they get brighter? You are correct that all 4 projectors will be lit at low beam.

That diagram was pulled from PTS, so I’m surprised to hear that. Or are you saying I’m looking at the wrong diagram?

Also there is a very clean cut off line with the headlamps, so I guess it’s more likely that the high beams aren’t turning on

The high beams are controlled by the HCM and th lin bus. Looking at the pic the lin bus is in the wrong spot
