Was looking in the HCM module forscan options, it has an option to change over to PWM signaling. Haven't played with seeing if it accepts PWM signaling or not (assume nothing). I suspect it will. That makes it even easier to control. Generic PWM controllers can be had for $2/ea.

Very simple now -- 3 wires to the head lights, B+ ties in at the spade connector hiding on the bottom of the image. Full dynamic / glare free operation

What is the info on where to get those knobs you used? Did you have to change any settings in Forscan?

The HCM firmware thing did not make sense to me either. But they keep telling me that. So your DRL dim setting is zero? Do your DRLs come on when the truck is parked and running? What line in the BCM is that you’re referring to? Mine are not set at zero but very dim the flash from dim to bright. If I turn the brightness at park up too high then I get no blink.
Yes my turn signals/hazzards still work fine when I have my drls off, the car is in park, etc..

I must have missed this post.
you can turn off the LED outage detection with forscan to get rid of the hyper flash.
for the front blinkers the value would be
726-40-02 0000-xxxx-xx
Yes, that was implemented right after that post and added to my sheet of changes for the 8" IPC.

Sorry I just saw that post you posted.
Do you have a part number on that potentiometer that you used?

I wouldn't use the one I used. I'd find a good 20k one sourced anywhere but amazon.

I have a 23’ and I had to combine the wires to make the turn signal work. I also found out if you have the brightness increased on the low brightness DRL the blinker won’t work because there is no difference between the low and high brightness. However since I did mine I heard someone had figured out that the HCM in the raptor has different firmware. I think it was Ryan B maybe? So now I could have just swapped HCM and done the Forscan changes. I am not sure but don’t think that applies to the 21’.
Have you done the DRL brightness increase on yours?
@OleMustyBag So, what are your settings for:
726-38-01
726-38-02
726-42-01
726-43-01

@Hawsa
I know you handwired your harness, but in the end was yours pinned out 100% to oem chart for led-p lights? I thought you originally said you had to repin some.

I didn't really hand wire the harness, I bought an adaptor harness from Ryan. Then I modified it to tap the blinker wire over to DRL. I will have to look up those forscan values I don’t have them written down. But also I turned on glarefree so some might be different.

Headlights are Mx150s so it's easy to Y a pin if you need to. I cut off the blinker/parking light connectors and added pins and put them into the factory harness -- each one has a ground that's not needed, also one is a redundant blinker on the 3 wire.

Update for anyone else doing Raptor Headlights on Lariat or Platinum:

I have a Lariat 502A and installed Raptor P-LED headlights. I ordered the marker splice adapter harnesses from Starkey Products,Inc.

I ordered a few Molex terminals and rewired them with some Deutsch molded diodes to combine turn signal wire into the DRL wire. Turn signals, hazards, everything works now. Thanks for everyones information!

@beaver24 Do you sell these modified harnesses? I have a 2022 King Ranch Tremor with projector headlights and a set of Raptor projector headlights that I would love to get installed. That being said, I’m not a wiring savvy guy.

No, but I could help you with them. The easiest route is to buy

No, but I could help you with them. Ordering the Starkey harneses then modifying them is the easist route. DM me and we can figure something out.

Hello, I'd like to bring this thread back to life. I'm in the process of installing my LED-P from LED-R and would like to custom make the wiring harness instead of purchasing one for $500+. I have a 21 302a and I've gathered a lot of data from these threads but still feel like im missing a few things. First thing that I cant seem to find is where HCM pin 2 and 3 go. It looks like its HS2 CAN but I cant find where that goes to. I also cant find out if I need to repin pin 13 on the LED-R (LIN BUS # BCM 5) to pin 6? On the LED-P connector Pin 6 is LIN BUS #14. Would I also have to move a wire on the BCM connector? I've already installed the LED-P and rewired my current connector for basic functionality. I plan on creating a new thread with all my gathered info so that the next person can follow without needing to buy the expensive harness.

Edit 1: After more reading I found that the document i had for LED-R was wrong and probably for another year model. I also found all the connectors needed to make my own harness for the HCM and that it goes to the all terrain control module connector.
