How strong do you want them? The factory raptor trans pan is a fairly popular addition and has access for the oil drain plug. The tremor front skid plate kit also allows 4 bolts on the filter access door. Might get more hits detailing just what you're looking to accomplish.

RCI skids on my PB. Added a fumoto valve and a small section of clear tubing. No issues draining the oil

Talon also has a hatch built in to facilitate with oil changes, although they recommend an after market oil drain valve to make it even easier and cleaner. I have the Valvomax. Very easy to do oil changes with zero mess.

yeah, I use a fumoto and only have to loosen maybe one undercarriage screw to fit my hand, the clear tubing, and turn the lever. This was from the last change back in Sept:

Yeah, is the fiber cover under the oil pan an FX4 thing? Not real sure what the point is of it other than a splash guard. Do some models not have it?
I have Fumotos on other vehicles. Nice product. Would be nice to have a setup with protection but easy access for oil changes when I have to do them outside with a tarp down on the snow like I did this week.

Our 2025 FX4 did not have the carpet cover. The RCI trans cover plate really covers up that big gap and should provide a lot of protection for the plastic transmission pan. Maybe also smooths out air flow for an extra .025 mpg??

Living in kansas we don't rock crawl but we do get ice chunks when county grades our winter roads and corn stalks and tumble weeds seem to get up into a trucks under carriage. Some are hard enough make a skid plate worthwhile.

Been there done that.
I always changed the oil in the driveway. When I lived in Great Falls, we had a small house. We did have a one car out, but that thing was so damn small. You could barely get an escort in there and open the door. Truck I had it at the time wouldn’t fit.

Car ramps work well and there’s a thing called a magic creeper. It’s a fabric nylon type roll. If you will that works really well and unlimited space areas were uneven floors.
