  1. Pics: leveled out 2025 FX4 on Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear

Yes and pics of how the skid plate wraps around the engine oil drain plug. Thank you.
  2. MTMan's 2022 F-150 Adventure Truck

I learned recently that if you want to install a hidden winch on the 3.5 EB you need a different intercooler. Has anyone done this and what options for an intercooler did you consider and why?
  3. New wheels and tires installed, lost 5 lbs per corner (18" Method 305 + Nitto Terra Grappler 275/70/18)

There's also the wind resistance factor if tires aren't tucked inside the fender anymore. I went the opposite direction with weight and offset and definitely lost around 4mpg.
  4. Front Hitch Options

Yeah, I've thought about one of those. Sometimes I unhook it from the F150 and hook it on my Land Cruiser because it's so much easier to park.
  5. Front Hitch Options

@powerboatr, it looks like you trimmed the active air dam for the front hitch. Does the active air dam still work this way? Also, would this hitch work well in your opinion as I look at the height of it for a winch cradle? I have a tight driveway and yard to park my boat and you have me...
  6. MTMan's 2022 F-150 Adventure Truck

Threw the snows on, used the Salt Shift mud wash to help clean the wheel wells and installed some Rain-X Latitude wiper blades.
  7. Black Friday Giveaway! 3WLiners floor mats review

    Nice looking mats
  8. 2021 PowerBoost Hybrid - new 33" Tires w/ 17" Wheels - +2lbs per corner - Mileage Preserved

I really like this design but sadly last winter was not so nice to them with some chips so would be nice to have some touch up paint.
  9. 2021 PowerBoost Hybrid - new 33" Tires w/ 17" Wheels - +2lbs per corner - Mileage Preserved

Interesting. My scale measured 38 on this one. Wonder if there are some variances. Would love to know the paint code on it.

  11. Gen 14 Uncomfortable Seat Fix - Foam From F-250 Seats

Interesting discovery. Everyone is built different. I find my heated cooled lariat seat quite comfortable. If Raptor seats are so comfortable would those foams swap? And does the F250 foam swap with the massage seats?
  12. Fall Mess Check-In (Giveaway: 3W Liners Floor Mats)

Firewood run(s) and planning some solar improvements.
  13. MTMan's 2022 F-150 Adventure Truck

Enjoyed another nice Trail Life campout camping in the truck.
  14. MTMan's 2022 F-150 Adventure Truck

Easiest recall I’ve ever seen. OTA infotainment update.
  15. Comparing stock Tremor suspension to Bilstein 4600 or 5100

I thought they used to do this. What I like about the 5100s is the better finish on it and the flexibility of doing stock or a lift in the future if I end up going that. Really, I’m just trying to get the best mix for the adventures I do. Hadn’t thought much about this until noticing how bad...
  16. Comparing stock Tremor suspension to Bilstein 4600 or 5100

This thread of spring rates is cool: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/front-spring-rates-table-for-gen-14.34174/
  17. Comparing stock Tremor suspension to Bilstein 4600 or 5100

I wonder what the OEM FX4 spring rate is? Bilstein replied: Hi, I’m sorry to report that I cannot disclose the exact valving characteristics between these products, as our direct-fit valving profiles are proprietary and privately owned information. Generally speaking, I can share that the...
  18. Comparing stock Tremor suspension to Bilstein 4600 or 5100

Yeah, probably going to pick one. Waiting on some specs from Bilstein. Hard to compare with a Ranger due to the differences in weights of the vehicle which is what makes the F150 ride so much better to begin with.
  19. Comparing stock Tremor suspension to Bilstein 4600 or 5100

Interestingly doing a little google search some are saying same internally and some different valving. If I get a chance, I'll try to get some more info direct.
  20. Comparing stock Tremor suspension to Bilstein 4600 or 5100

The 4600 is more of a worldwide shock for its applications whereas the 5100s for what we do in North America. I’m guessing the Tremor shock is probably in between the FX4 and Bilstein. I don’t like how the rear axle on my FX4 jumps around on corrugated roads. However, I’m going a different...
