Set phone as favorite?

Is there a way to set a phone as the favorite or preferred device to connect to? My truck always defaults to my wife’s phone. My last truck did this also and I was hoping this one would not. I’ve searched through all the menus and cannot find anything. But hopefully I’m just overlooking it. It’s aggravating to have to go to the phone list and make it use my phone every time she’s riding with me.

I'd like to know this as well. Seems my radio connects to everyone else but my phone and I have to go to list to tell it connect to mine. Hell I've had times ill get in truck by myself and it'll connect to my wife's phone in the house and not mine thats in the truck. Lol.

This drives me bonkers! Every car we have connects to my wife's phone over mine. The only time my phone has ever connected to my car over hers was when she was following me in my car and I was driving my truck. She kept trying to call me and whenever I'd answer it would boot her off the blue tooth, I had to put space between us every time she'd try to call lol.

Can have two phones connected at same time with only one as audio source.
Primary phone is set under phone settings go to phone list and look in there.
I had my work and personal phone setup and work would ring to answer but personal would be used to send texts and call out.

*I do not use Android Auto or Car play so not sure how those work with multiple phones.

I can find no way to set a primary phone under phone settings.

My wife’s phone isn’t paired to my truck. Problem solved.

I have the same problem with it connecting to wife's phone automatically before even trying to connect to mine! This has been a constant source of aggravation and utter frustration for the whole 2 years I have owned this truck!! Very poor software design in my opinion!

Not aware of older version, I had it setup that way for a while and it was working recently. I am behind a little on updates released this year though.

It figures they did away with a needed option in the software....It truly seems Ford does not care about their vehicle owners. (customers)

Hey, try this disconnect and unpair your preferred device and reconnect it. I was having the same issue where my wife's phone would be the one paired w/ audio. I got curious if it was just preferring the newest device and I can say after I re-added my phone it is primary device. Hope this works for everyone else.
