samsung s21 fe phone as a key

My new samsung says it can be used on fords as a PHAK.
but i can not find any info on samsung or the phone as to how to enable said function.
is it real for the f150 or just the lighting and lincolns?

Just curious, where did you find that your s21 fe can be used as a Phone as a key on ford?
I have a s22 ultra and I can't use it as a PAAK on my 22 f150 limited but I can use it on my parents 21 Lincoln navigator through the Lincoln way app. From what I have read the ICE f150s do not support phone as a key through both the ford pass app and the Samsung wallet app. The F150 lightning does/did support PAAK through the ford pass app. I don't keep up the the f150 lightning so don't quote me on this but I think ford has be removed PAAK or is not shipping the lightning with the capability to use it. This probably has something to do with the chip shortage or i could be completely wrong.

I think that's just a Lightning and Lincoln feature. I remember someone talking about there being a special module the Lightnings have that ICE ones do not for some sort of feature they wanted to add. Not sure if it was the rear door handles having sensors to unlock the doors like the fronts have or something else.

it was buried in an article on samsungs website
it listed ford vehicles, but didnt go into details

today i tried in vain and it does not support the 150. as we have learned over the last few months
my ford pass will unlock and remote start, i was mainly curious if the phone was actually that sneaky
no harm to ask right ???

i am not really sure
ford pass will lock or unlock and remote start. i have never tried to drive off after remote start with ford pass and leave key in house.
ONE WOULD think...that ford pass having the above features could easily be the PAAK...??? maybe i am over thinking the simplicity of design. its tied to the vin via the phone already?????

PAAK allows you to use your phone instead of a key fob. Only the lightning and Mach E have the module and antennas to allow for this to work.
