A local glass installer told me he believes that in general, tire tread has become more agressive over the years, and are picking up bigger rocks. Might be a contributing factor.
No trouble codes that I remember — before or after. When the process failed ~55% through, the error referenced a “parking camera” or something like that— I don’t remember exactly now.
Forscan tells you what to do once you start the process.
I used a large parking lot with a dark surface and...
When I swapped standard for tow mirrors, my side views were angled about 15 degrees. I attempted to use Forscan to calibrate them, but the process failed at about 55% (three times). However, after the failed re-calibrations, my 360 views were almost perfect (A bit of “seam” on each side between...
Filed 23 Jan (Turbotax electronic) — Federal refund arrived 3 Feb. State of Georgia advertises “12 weeks,“ and if you call them before that, they’ll blow you off.
My ‘22 Lariat is extremely finicky about calibration/configuration. Got it to work once (and it was pretty cool), but not worth the hassle of trying to get the truck to recognize the trailer so I can use it every time.
Have you compared the Revolutions per Mile specification of the two tire brands/sizes? Differences in sidewall stiffness may cause the diameter calculations to be off compared to the actual revs per mile.

Max Tow Axle recall (unresolved - no bolt failures - yet...)
Initial intermittent issue with driver door window/mirror switches (resolved by OTA update)

I attended Barrett Jackson in Pheonix a few years ago. Had a great time. I’d plan on spending a couple of days (prob Friday/Saturday). Lots of cool displays, and acres of cars to see (many still there after they crossed the block earlier), and the auction process is worthwhile to spend several...
Well, after recieving numerous OTA updates over the past two years, this page says (about my '22 Lariat):
"Your vehicle does not feature the technology to receive the type of software updates reported here. Please reference our SYNC and Navigation page to learn about about the capability of...
The intelligent adapive cruise fuzes what the cameras read off the signs with what is stored in the GPS database (Forscan can turn off fusion and select one or the other…). As noted, the GPS database is sometimes wildly inaccurate — especially where past road construction has temporarily altered...
You can use Forscan to turn off the database source for the speed limit recognition, and use the camera only (but then it won't change if anything is blocking the camera's view of the signs -- trucks, tree branches, etc.).
Mine have been like that since new. With lights off in daylight, lenses are crystal clear. I believe it is something about the wavelength of the lights (LEDs) that causes something in the plastic of the lens to floresce. My wife and stepdaughter both have VW Jettas with LED headlights, and they...
Most of our OEM batteries were bad when we drove them off the lot new. Trucks that sat for months waiting on chips were especially affected. I replaced mine with a Walmart H8 at about 1 year, and no issues since.
It’s a full holster that is affixed to a steel bracket bolted to the side of the seat frame. It follows the seat up/down/back/forward. One might be able to alter the mounting holes to adjust it lower.
