Perhaps you could do one for us? Sir HammaMan?Some false information though -- You don't need the lariat trim to get the hybrid and there are 3 motors, w/ hybrid being a subtype of the 3.5. Raptor 3.5 HO and 5.2 aren't optional, they're entire trims -- still not 8 combinations either way, only 6. 3.3 has vanished. Didn't appear to be using tow/haul mode as that changes the engine start/stop which he thought was still functioning normally when towing. Didn't even mention trailer blinker or split views despite being right in front of him as shown on camera.
I thought that Ford restricted the PB to Lariat or higher. It was not showing up as an option for the XLT.Some false information though -- You don't need the lariat trim to get the hybrid and there are 3 motors, w/ hybrid being a subtype of the 3.5.
I just went to the Build site and was able to start with a PB XLT. It's wasn't available in the STX.I thought that Ford restricted the PB to Lariat or higher. It was not showing up as an option for the XLT.
They only got rid of XL being able to option the motor. Yeah, STX was never a PB option/trm.I just went to the Build site and was able to start with a PB XLT. It's wasn't available in the STX.
Dang when I would go there I would leave the "Style" and "Bed Length" blank. I thought it would give you every option available and then start restricting when you made selections. Once I made selections then the PB did come up.I just went to the Build site and was able to start with a PB XLT. It's wasn't available in the STX.
What's new is PB is only a 4x4 now so that may be a factor. Still kicking in options thoughDang when I would go there I would leave the "Style" and "Bed Length" blank. That is better as restricting it to Lariat or higher removes it from the work horse trucks and the PB is built for work trucks.
Yeah trim levels aside, I like his reviews. And he actually did test the ProPower at his ranch/property vs. Honda generator. Not many reviewers do that.In my opinion, Alex on Autos is the best auto reviewer on YouTube. He is always thorough, objective, and fair. I have a 23 PB and am more familiar with it than most vehicles he reviews; I thought he did an excellent job on this video.
ProPower was the primary reason we went with the PB (to power our travel trailer when needed), so this review was pretty spot-on about why some people buy this truck. It didn't have anything to do with MPG.Yeah trim levels aside, I like his reviews. And he actually did test the ProPower at his ranch/property vs. Honda generator. Not many reviewers do that.
I have a 2024 XLT Powerboost. Only thing it didn't have that I wanted was power folding mirrors and leather seats, and after a few thousand miles in the cloth seats, I'm not even sure I'll change the covers.I thought that Ford restricted the PB to Lariat or higher. It was not showing up as an option for the XLT.
