Thanks Derrick/Colton and Dadrew for the insights.

I did hear a rumor that the Eibach 2.5” shocks are debuting today (or very very soon). Any idea what they might ride like compared to their 2R kits?

I'll drop another vote in the Eibach bucket, even though I've had good experiences with Bilstein on other pickups.

I bought the Pro2R kit August of last year from Hotshot, and have put almost 30k miles on it since then. Rides great and handles so much better than stock. No more wallowing in corners or skipping in the rear end from washboard gravel. My wife is pretty picky about ride quality due to fibromyalgia causing her quite a bit pain. She still enjoys riding in my pickup almost as much as her Aviator with adaptive suspension and 30 way adjustable seats.

Well now you guys have be itching for the Eibach 2R’s now hahah!

I liked the 6112 option with how robust they are combined with the lower price; performing far and above what their price point is. With the Eibach 2.5’s debuting today/very soon; I’m curious in knowing the differences between the 3.

Appreciate everyone’s input. I get overly analytical on suspension as it’s something I’ll feel daily and will be ideally a one-time purchase for a long time.

just to add a little more to this, I do have to say getting a rear sway bar has probably been my favorite suspension/handling upgrade

body roll is gone with the Steeda Rear Sway Bar...... just another piece to the puzzle

So there is no immediate feedback on the 2.5s yet since of course they havent released. We cannot give up too much info right now as we have to keep things more hush hush; but what we can tell you is that they are coming and coming soon. We are planning to have these on a stocking order to drop the moment Eibach gives the word!

Heres what we can say though is that they are a 2.5 shock. Meaning they will be similar in design like the 6112s, but will still be valved the way Eibach does their valving. My gut tells me they were be very similar in overall ride quality, but possibly a SLIGHTLY softer ride compared to Bilstein. Cant confirm that yet, thats just our guess. What I can say though is that the price will NOT be the same as the current 2R kits. I would venture to say they will be approx 700-1k more then what the current 2R kits are. So just keep that in mind too so youre not waiting for a new kit if its more than what then what you were looking to spend. But we do think they will be worth it!

If you havent; check out our write up we did awhile back. It does not have the new 2.5s on there since we havent tested them. But this should help you out with the others.

Glad youre still liking your kit! We always appreciate the support and kind words from customers.
