I'm going to be working on installing the BoostAuto wireless charger this weekend and the install instructions mention to disconnect the battery before disconnecting a few connectors in the dash assembly to prevent any error codes from being logged and having to be cleared. This got me thinking that I know how to disconnect battery power for a regular vehicle that does not have a hybrid system, but I have no clue how to disconnect on a Powerboost.
Will disconnecting just the battery in the engine compartment suffice or will their still be power due to the hybrid system? Do I also need to disconnect the negative terminal to the battery under the rear passenger seat?
Thanks to any that can help me understand this better.
