Finally got around t pulling out the dongle and running FDRS but ran out of time on my subscription before I finished can you tell me the current status of my truck and how far I am from the newest version? Trying to decide if it's worth another subscription for 2 days.

You'll gain full screen Android Auto and Car Play, plus Amazon Alexa if you care about those things. I can tell that just by your version number. Well worth $50 in my opinion.

No recent OTA history and your truck is on Sync 23159 which is one version behind the latest. Modules pending updates are below, but this list is not accurate. You are also missing several APIM, GWM and TCU updates to be fully up to date and possibly an IPC update, too.

I’ve been trying to figure out what is going on with my truck. I just got it a couple of months ago, but it is showing I have an update that will inhibit the truck. Something is not right here. Did you upgrade from the 8" screen to the 12" screen in April of last year?

@Nhair566 I had to dig a bit to find your issue and I think I found it. The previous owner took the truck to a dealer because the touchscreen kept going blank. The dealer determined it was a bad APIM and replaced it. However, it does not seem like the programmed the new APIM properly. I believe you have some serious misconfiguration issues and mismatching data between your truck and the server. The OTA that was sent to you timed out and failed and it is the third time that particular update has failed.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but software-wise, I think that truck is aaaaalllllllllllllllll f*cked up.

Hey, just got a new to me 21 Lariat and found this forum.

My sync version seems like it has not been updated since 2021. Trying to determine if I need to go to the dealer or if I can get it updated myself.
