Can anyone with FDRS access let me know what I have pending?

@rugedraw when you get a chance can you let me know what updates I have pending in FDRS?

I’m trying to get the bed camera IOD card to display properly and it’s just blank so I suspect it’s a module on too low of a firmware version.

Battery, battery and lastly, battery. Capacity is being recorded at 25 and it should be 70 with the OEM battery. Voltage is at 11 instad of 12, and SoC is at 43% instead of 80%-100%.

My saga continues. Me being impatient for my service appt next week, and temps being in the teens, I went and got an Optima Yellow H7 and put it in.

Reset with the headlight/brake presses (confirmed with flashing battery icon)

Update now...

Aaaaaand still failed.

WTF. Any ideas here @rugedraw ? How can it possibly be complaining of a dead battery with an absolutely brand new, not even driven yet, optima?

This is beyond frustrating, I owe you a beer for checking FDRS (yes dm me and I will make good on that offer!)

If I remember correctly.... fully charge the new battery before use. Remember seeing this on this forum. Something about initializing the battery.

Capacity is at 78 which is great, but SoC is still low. Remember if a battery sits on the shelf for X amount of time before you buy it, it loses charge.

Am I correctly assuming then that perhaps after a 1 hour hwy drive it may become above the SoC threshold and try again? What is your recommendation?

Good to know it has identified the new battery as having much improved capacity and at the 12v instead of 11v I suppose....

Long drive should help, yes.

Go into updates and hit update now when you park after your long drive and don't need to leave for 20 ish minutes.

Charge battery if it still fails and remember to keep negative from charger on the outside of the BMS. Not onto negative terminal itself. That is essential for the truck to see battery being charged.

I thought the OTA gods forgot about me too after August. Then they just started rolling in. One in November, three in December, one in January. Apparently Canadian trucks like to update here.

I think the reasoning has been so long is that I have the PPO-SI still showing in Sync as completed. It never cleared out like any other OTAs I did get. My truck may just tell the mother ship it is busy with this update and hold off till I am done. A "bit" is set somewhere saying not now. Just my thoughts based on years working with technology.
