I posted this in another thread without seeing this thread first. I'll head over and update my other thread shortly.

Purchased my truck in late December (20th-ish).

Trying to learn as much as I can about the OTA status and other updates that it did or should have received.

VIN 1FTFW1EDXPFA05126

Thank you so much for help.
OTA history is below. The last one you got was 6.1.0 on 11/18. You are not terribly behind.

Thank you very much - is there a best way to get caught up? Assuming I cannot do it OTA.

One way and one way only. It requires investing in the tools needed to so and an license to access FDRS which is Ford's dealer software used for module programming (and other things). The first post of the thread below details everything you need to know.

For someone seeing it for the first time, it is a lot to take in.

Numerous threads on here about batteries and you'll get run around by dealer not wanting to do warranty battery replacement. Less headache to just get the biggest aftermarket battery that will fit and move on. H8 for non-Powerboost and H7 for Powerboost. A good battery and your truck should have no issues with OTA battery failures.
I have a 21 Tremor 3.5EB. Optima Yellow H7 is the biggest I can find locally. Should be good to go, yeah?

Any FORscan adjustments or reprogramming I'll need to do?

Should be fine but I'd go for the big H8 if you can. Doesn't hurt going bigger and with cold winters up here next week single digit high temperatures I'm happy to have extra capacity. If you do up size battery the insulation will need replaced with larger size if you care about that sort of thing.

Just make sure it is fully charged when you put it in the truck and perform a BMS reset.

Best thing I can arm you with is the GSM below that Ford released to dealers on 10/26 advising them of what the latest Sync version for each vehicle is. Seems to me like they did not PMI the new APIM they put in your truck in May of last year. I don't think your case is an easy one and they will have to involve Ford engineers.
2021 job F-150 Limited PowerBoost, original owner. VIN 1FTFW1ED1MFB59560. Version 23159, Revision 915. Blue Cruise 1.0 active.

Not sure if I have SYNC IV or SYNC IV #2. Can you tell me?

If I understand your post if I have SYNC IV and my version is less than Version 23167 (it’s Version 23159) the dealer will update the truck on Ford’s nickel.

If I have SYNC IV #2 then no update on Ford’s nickel.

Not something I’d rush out to have done. I assume someday the ghost of Henry Ford will smile down on me and I'll again get OTA updates. Since I’m wintering in Florida I can wait until I get back to New England.

Thanks for your help.

Sync 4 II is the 8", so you have Sync 4.

Last Power up update you got was 4.2.4 followed by APIM update 23-PU0724-DOM-RS. You're ready for the 6.x.x. updates.

When I upgraded to an H8 I cut my old blanket with a sharp knife and gently stretched it to fit (mostly) around the new H8 battery and reconnected using a few zip ties. I'm not convinced a perfectly fitting battery blanket does anything anyway. Maybe keeps the battery 0.5 degrees F "warmer" overnight or something? Buffers against engine heat a tiny bit better? Maybe.

Just a data point but I've lived VERY cold places (Upper Midwest, Alaska) and have never seen or used a battery blanket. You do have to be on top of not letting it discharge though.
