In your case, I would not spend the money to get the updates you are missing. They are all preparatory updates updates for future updates, so you aren't missing out on anything that warrants the expense. IMO, of course.

my truck has continuously shown the OTA logo but either freezes or crashes and reboots if you tap the icon, can i get a list of the current module / update statuses?

Your truck is recording some significant DTC's for the past 3 days. I think a visit to the dealer is in order. You've also had a GWM module update fail 4 times on your truck since May. It is OTA 3.5.2 which is fairly old, so your truck is out of date. Once you get 3.5.2, the next OTA (3.5.3) is the one that gives you full-screen CarPlay/Android Auto.

Attached is a report of the codes your truck is recording.

Your truck is recording some significant DTC's for the past 3 days. I think a visit to the dealer is in order. You've also had a GWM module update fail 4 times on your truck since May. It is OTA 3.5.2 which is fairly old, so your truck is out of date. Once you get 3.5.2, the next OTA (3.5.3) is the one that gives you full-screen CarPlay/Android Auto.

Attached is a report of the codes your truck is recording.
I haven't had any service indicators or notable issues but that list is reasonably extensive, Ill call the dealer monday and get it set up, Thank you for the assistance

I would also tell the dealer to check the OTA dashboard for the failed GWM update to see if they can do it for you.

Ouch. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Sync 20301 is old software from 2020 known to break the OTA process. It does not look like your truck has ever received an update and probably never will without dealer intervention.

Schedule an appt with your dealer and tell them your truck has never gotten an update. The need to manually update your APIM using the process outlined in Ford TSB 22-2402 or diagnose your APIM as faulty and replace it with a new one. If you can get that done, you sill start getting updates.

Your truck is not completely up to date, but not way behind either. Do you have a schedule set for auto-updates? You had OTA 4.3.4 fail twice due to the OTA trigger expiring in the past two months. It seems like the update never even tried to install, which leads me to believe you have auto-updates set to off.

I'll check. Have not messed with software since delivery and thought that they would automatically update. Just had 4.2.3 installed, auto.

Yes, but certain update require the vehicle to be inhibited while they install and 4.3.4 is one of them. Those type of updates will only install if atuo-updates are scheduled, so if you have that feature off, I would recommend turning it on.

I have a 2022 truck (no ACC) that has been getting OTA updates and I was feeling ok but starting to get concerned about my battery which has been going into deep sleep state frequent and I haven't seen any of the recent updates. (I have been putting battery on a tender).

Your truck does not have any OTA's in queue and does not show any failed updates due to low SOC. Also, there are DTC's being recorded for low battery voltage. Try resetting the BMS. Not sure why its' going into deep sleep.

That's because your truck was built with most of the software that comes to the older trucks already. While you are not completely up to date, the updates you are missing are to prep the trucks for future updates, so you aren't missing out on anything. Nothing to worry about in your case.

@rugedraw - I just had a look at my truck to make sure Auto Updates was on and checked the updates....
It shows

Ford power up not completed referencing 22-PU-1009-PPO-SI. Could you have a look and see what failed please?

@rugedraw - thank you mate - I am amazed on what you can see on my truck . I reset the BMS manually (5xbrights, 3xbrakes in accessory mode) and took it for a 30min drive. Will the DTCs you saw for low battery voltage clear up by themselves if the reset worked? Frustrating part is I took it into the dealer a week ago about the issue and they said yep battery low and they said it just needed a charge. Nothing about DTCs
