Many thanks, appreciate everything you do for this community!Your truck is on Sync 20301 which is old software known to break the OTA process. I would try to get your dealer to get you out of it's current state as it is not easy to do even with the Mongoose and FDRS. Tell them your truck has never received an OTA update and it is still on the same software it was built with. They need to manually update your APIM using TSB 22-2404. Once they get your truck passed that, you can do the rest.
I will gladly check later tonight when I am home as I have FDRS on my laptop at home. Remind me around 8pm est if I haven't posted it yet. I forget stuff.Rugedraw, could you please check my VIN when you get a chance and let me know which modules need updating.

Thanks!
As far as OTA's go, you are fairly up to date. I will check FDRS later for you, as well.Would someone please be able to see what updates I have pending? I would really appreciate it. Thank You!

Ouch. Sorry, but the news for you is no bueno. Your truck is on Sync 20301 and has not recorded an OTA in 2 years. Without dealer intervention, you will not get any updates. You need to make an appt with your dealer and tell them you have not gotten an OTA in two years. They need to manually update your APIM using Ford TSB 22-2404 to get it out of its current state. They will most likely say it won't update and swap it out with a new one. Once they do that, you will be very behind on updates, but you will at least be able to get them and get caught up one day.Exactly what I’ve been looking for
any chance you could look up

From what I can see, they did it right. New APIM went in on 9/15 and they did the PMI. The problem now is not your truck, but Ford's crappy OTA process. Just because your truck can get updates, does not mean you will get them right away. There is no rhyme or reason as to how updates are sent, which is why many of us decided to do what we had to do to update the truck ourselves.Any chance you could look up my Truck? I bought the truck stuck on 1.7.1, took it to the dealer, and they replaced the APIM. SYNC Version now reads 21146_PRODUCT, revision 145, and has not updated since the new APIM was installed a month ago. Took it to the dealer today, and they said the software shows as "up to date" on their end and they are at a stand-still. I know for a fact this is old software, so what do they need to do? Should I refer them to TSB 22-2404?
Any help is MUCH appreciated... this has been incredibly frustrating.
I figured I would be one of the ones stuck on that version. I appreciate the insight. I did bring my truck to the dealer last week in an attempt to resolve this issue. However, they said their tech couldn’t get the updates to work and that they needed to order a tool for testing/diagnostics.Ouch. Sorry, but the news for you is no bueno. Once they get your truck out of where it is now, there is a way you can update it yourself, but we will have to cross that bridge when you get to it.
The "tool" they need are some specific USB cables needed to plug directly into the module to perform the update. I am surprised they took that route instead of ordering a new APIM. Did they give you an appt to go back, or did they leave it in the air?I figured I would be one of the ones stuck on that version. I appreciate the insight.
