Every update in either FDRS or OTA is basically a replacement of old software, file or files with an updated version of the file or files on the particular module that's being addressed by the update. If modules are updated within FDRS there will be a history of modules updated during a session. Date time, module, strategies or file names. This history is permanently recorded on Ford's severs for the associated VIN and has a lifetime look back. An APIM update for example can have 16 to 20 files loaded with an update to a new SYNC version. Sometimes just one file will be replaced, such as a nav software file within the APIM which can also lead to a new SYNC version number.Sorry... was not clear... I was asking about updates that I have already gotten either OTA or with FDRS.
Within the PTS system such as what rugedraw is looking at, you are able to see the last 90 days of OTA history. This to shows the module that was addressed by the OTA, a date and time stamp as well as the software file names that were updated as well as the previous file names that were replaced. This history does not appear in FDRS.
There isn't really a way to see a complete linear, blow by blow history of every update that happened to every module on the truck. For the most part it doesn't really matter as long as everything works post update. Kind of like updates on a phone once you get the new android version it doesn't really matter what the old version was, other than if something doesn't work. Then you get pissed off but all you can do is hope they fix it in the next update. ?
