Good morning - I just helped a fellow member update his truck a couple of weeks ago and updated my ABS, all I had outstanding, I was not going to ask for someone to have a look until next month. But, with the talk of a APIM update just come out. Could someone have a quick peek?

Could someone please check my VIN (1FTFW1ED1MFA45784) if there are any updates? I would like to know if I got the new APIM update. I recently got the Mongoose cable and would like to try to take care of my own updates after a bad experience at the nearby dealership. Thanks!!

PTS shows your on Sync 23159, so you have the latest APIM update already. Just like @Kanuck, I can check what modules you have pending updates later when I get home to my laptop.

Same as above. A member reported getting OTA 4.3.6 today that fixes the broken camera in motion (as per Jesse) which is an APIM update, so it may be that one.

Rear camera(s) only. It broke for some people after one of the 4.x.x updates. This fixes it.

Easy? Yes. Cheap? No. FDRS is the only way I know of to see what modules have pending updates.

Sorry... was not clear... I was asking about updates that I have already gotten either OTA or with FDRS.

Oh no. Not that I know of. OTA updates get recorded in your Fordpass messages..... or at least they're supposed to. Updates with FDRS stay recorded in vehicle history forever, but you need FDRS or PTS to see them. Even then, it'll tell you which module was updated, but not which OTA it coincides with.

You can ballpark it by the Excel file and the sync version, but some updates get merged on FDRS, so it still isn't a 1:1 comparison. I estimated my truck was approximately 1 year out of date when I bought it in April based off sync version and the updates I needed to install to get current. I kept notes of the updates I installed just for my own curiosity and documenting it in my post on FDRS thread. I know based off what the wizard Jesse has posted I'll be in for another 5 hour IPC TV binge when the BC update hits my VIN.
