There are two different OTA's for the 8 and 18 speaker set ups. In your case, there is a DSP update pending.

You're on Sync 23159 which is one version behind the latest. Modules pending updates are below. Not sure what you mean by tip the helpers, but there is nothing you can do to speed up the OTA process.

This truck is a 2023, so it should have the right IPMA software. It's on ABJ,. but I don't remember if that's the correct one or not. Worse case scenario, just do the FORScan changes. The worse that will happen is that it won't work.



Only showing BCM, BCMC and TRM updates pending. FDRS and OTA servers are not directly linked. The update failed because you had already done it. Now that you got an DSP update yesterday, that failed OTA message should be gone and replaced with that one.

Thanks for checking and yes the last failed message was replaced with another failed message. After getting the second failed update, I contacted Ford and they stated my battery is not fully charging, at 49% even though I had just driven it. Battery is almost 3 years old so I'll see if they will warrenty it.

No, not at all. I took my laptop and there was no wifi and the cell reception was so bad, I could not even tether from my phone. I was annoyed at first, but it was a blessing in disguise.

No, Ford is supposed to send a new APIM update in Q4 to address many of those issues. Mine does it too with Android Auto. I have to reboot the touchscreen to get it to work. Very annoying.

I am new to the thread. What a great resource! I have a 2021 job 1 F150 Lariat 5.0 with roush package upgrades (not supercharged or tuned). Last year, I had a ford dealer perform the 21G01 product improvement campaign to get blue cruise up and going (successfully). After that, I received a few more “numerical” (X.X.X) updates (haven’t noticed anything past the 4.3.Xs). The last two updates that I noticed were 24-PU0223-VI-RBS and BCM-24.6.R. I guess these updates are not necessarily in order? A VIN look up would be much appreciated to see where things stand. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum. Your truck is on Sync 23159 which is one version behind the latest one. Modules pending updates are below. Some updates come in a numerical order and other's do not, so that is fine. Your truck is passed the 4.x.x updates and in the 6.x.x. range I would guess. At this time, you are not showing any APIM, GWM or TCU updates available. This is due to an issue on Ford's side that is affecting many vehicles and they need to address. You can and still will randomly get updates for the ones with the green dot you see below, but until Ford address the issue, your truck cannot be fully updated via the OTA process.

Correct. Unless you go the FDRS route. We would be able to help you fix the issue that way. Otherwise, nothing you can do but wait; dealer can't help, either.
