only the GWM needs updated. The other one is only if the module had to be replaced.

Negative. He only has a GWM update as I stated above. The ACM is only for a replacement module.

This truck belongs to a member on F150forum. He has been updated via OTA up to 4.2.4, but he says he has no cameras in motion. At first, I thought his truck skipped over the updates, but after going through his FDRS history in PTS, it shows the dealer updated all modules back in October of 2022, so he should be able to use cameras in motion. I am wondering what GWM update this is since he did receive 4.2.3 successfully according to PTS.

Nvm, I confused his truck with someone else's. His problem is his maps aren't loading and he has overlapping texts on his Sync screen after getting OTA 4.2.1.

My bad... I just talked to Jesse about that update, and he gave me the details I was clearly too lazy to read about in the history

Yes, but those 4.3.x updates are IPC updates that should not affect this issues he is having. I edited the post you responded to. I was mixing up his truck with someone else I am trying to help.

Looks like his APIM updates failed to install... So it's stuck in a partial install state.
Have him send me a PM and I can possibly help him get the updated files to install himself

Partial install? That would explain why PTS says he is on Sync 23031 even though PTS recorded the failed OTA. I don't think he has account on here, so I will tell him to make one. Thanks for your help.

Your truck has not recorded a successful OTA is 8 months. 4.2.1 is a relatively new update. How do you figure you're on 4.2.1? Is that what your screen says when you check for updates?

Same thing has happened to mine twice in a week. @M.R.F.O.R.D. and a few others, as well. While I have seen this update go through successfully recently for some trucks, I have also seen a few people reporting issues with it. It is unclear as to why it is failing, but you're not alone. Your OTA dashboard is showing the same exact failures as mine. It goes through the regular OTA steps, but when it gets to the part where it downloads, it just fails inexplicably.
