Your truck has a build date of 9/29/2021, and the last time any software was updated on your truck was on 9/29/21 at the I'm guessing at the factory because there is no FDRS history on your truck of any updates being installed on that day. Your truck has never gotten an OTA and you are on Sync 20301 which is red flag that your truck is stuck and will not get updates without dealer intervention. Your APIM needs to be manually updated (or replaced if diagnosed as faulty).

Yours is a 2023 and was built with the latest software already. My truck shifted funny when I first got it, too. It does have a learning curve where it adapts to your driving style. That should get better over time.

1712 miles on it now... only gotten worse, and I'm a very easy driver.

I have FORScan... maybe there is a way to clear the learning and see if it stops temporarily.

OTA trigger expired on 2/6, it tried to download files 3 more times after it expired and then quit. You will also have to wait for it to be resent.

Just got updated to 3.5.3.2 and my cluster still seems to shut off after entering trailer settings. Any chance this update wasn’t included?

I see no indication your truck has any issues. You just haven't gotten any OTA love from Ford in a while.

This update has nothing to do with the IPC or the TRM. Whatever issues you are having are likely unrelated to the update.

BTW: You have 3.5.4 in your queue to install.

Just picked up the truck and wanted to see how many updates are available before I jump down the rabbit hole.

Go to your settings menu and check for updates. The truck has gotten 2.8.1 sent to it twice this year. I think the second time it was sent to you may be expired, but check to see if it is still there. It seems someone tried to get it to install. but it failed due to low battery voltage which is very common with that particular OTA. if it is still there, you need to have the truck hooked up to a battery charger when you initiate the update.

I don't have FDRS to pull up what updates you have pending, but based on the OTA being sent to you, you are behind and have plenty of pending updates.

Nothing since you got 2.7.3 back in early December.

Good to know. Does it by chance show any other module updates that still haven't been performed? Curious if the modules I had pending prior to this update are still in the queue.

Thanks dudes for looking all of these up. In late 2021 my 12” screen would go black anytime that I went under a bridge or drove through shadows. I could get it to come back on by pushing the dash light dimmer button up or down. The dealer said they had to order something so that they could program some modules and to bring it back later. I was waiting for the next service interval when on June 22, 2022 (edit it was June 30,2022) I got an update and the truck cured itself. I haven’t gotten an update since then. I believe a failed update caused the problem and when I finally got it then the problem was solved. I wasn’t getting an update with all of this update talk going around and then I started showing deep sleep mode. I charged and ran a recondition cycle on the battery last week and then reset the BMS.
