I did update the truck with fdrs but there were no ipc updates that needed to be done at that time. The ipc backup loading issues have been the same before updating anything and are the exact same after updating the rest of the truck.
That surprises me. I thought all 2021s had at least one IPC update available by now. Did your dealer update you for Blue Cruise? You would have gotten an IPC update as part of that process.

I don’t have blue cruise, I don’t think.
I did my own updates with fdrs

I think there were a couple of OTAs released last year that updated the IPC. Absent an IPC update at some point which changed the number of lines codes, I can’t think of another reason why earlier backs ups fail to load but more recent ones work fine.

Maybe it was the 2.7.4 ota I got back in November a week or so after I got the truck

2.7.4 was an IPC update. I remember because my truck got stuck there in that particular OTA. Jesse had to help me can bus it in. If your original back up was done before you got that update, that could explain it.

As far as getting the original files from Ford, I'm not sure. Out of curiosity, why do you want to revert it to the as built version anyway?

I feel like I’ve made so many changes for adding different things without keeping a clean record of what I changed. I was gonna start over and actually track what I’ve changed.
Currently fighting my TSR speed sign on the ipc. It displays the speed, changes when I pass signs but is bright for a few seconds, then goes dim until I pass a sign with a different speed than what’s shown. Then it brightens up for a few seconds and dims all over again.

Getting the original from Ford probably won’t help you much here. First, if your IPC has been updated, it won’t load because of the mismatch in code lines. Second, with the IPC update, Ford may have made other changes to the as-built that you aren’t aware of and should not undo. You could end up with a bigger mess.

Your best bet it to reach out and see if you can find someone who has a truck as closely matched to yours as possible who has an updated IPC but who hasn’t made FORScan changes to it and ask them if you can download their as-built file. Then you can try to use a tool like As-Built Explorer to compare your as-built to theirs for changes. It’s been a long time since I downloaded the tool, but I think this is the link. https://www.compulsivecode.com/Project_AsBuiltCompare.aspx

Looks like my local dealer applied the updates, just not picked up the truck yet could you please take a look and let me know if now I’m in the latest version?

I don't have FDRS to see what modules you have with pending updates, but the only thing they've updated so far is the GWM.

Hello....I'm heading to the dealer this week to have a few trim pieces replaced. I'd like to know if I have any available module updates before my appointment. Maybe I can talk them into applying the updates.

Can someone please check to see if I have any module updates available? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone...
I have a 2021 F-150 and I don't think it has received a single update.
Tried bringing it to the dealer, but they said they only upgraded the IPMA.

My Sync version appears to be severely outdated and I am unsure what I would request that they update to fix this?

Thank you to anyone who can help.

Your truck has a build date of 9/29/2021, and the last time any software was updated on your truck was on 9/29/21 at the I'm guessing at the factory because there is no FDRS history on your truck of any updates being installed on that day. Your truck has never gotten an OTA and you are on Sync 20301 which is red flag that your truck is stuck and will not get updates without dealer intervention. Your APIM needs to be manually updated (or replaced if diagnosed as faulty).

Hi Rugedraw you last looked up my OTA's a month ago and at that time it was downloading the update but it never installed and nothing since. Can I get you to look it up again to see if I'm stuck 1FTFW1E87MKD29608 .

Thank You
