3.0 Hurricane Ram 1500s are entering production in 15 days. Production of 2025’s starts in February, all 2024 have been built all ready to my understanding. Ram runs their model years really odd. We will see them out on the streets in late March/April
It will be very interesting to see how the new hurricane and ramcharger do.

Absolutely. I thought the Tundra iForce Max might surpass the PB, and now the Hurricane and RamCharger are taking aim at the entire Ford half ton lineup

I think the Hurricane falls short for the muscle segment. Built it maxes out around 650 HP. The Coyote with the Ford Performance iron Block built is 2000 HP. Two different realms of performance. Dodge might get stock guys but the enthusiasts aren’t going to take that little I-6. The platform isn’t there compared to LS or Coyote. I think it’ll make a decent pickup engine though. We shall see.

The 5.0 heads flow so much more CFM, in 2023 Stellantis still can’t come up with a cylinder head that will outflow the Coyote. 5.0 is also easy to electrify since the packaging is available and length isn’t an issue like the I-6. I think the Mustang really has nothing to worry about with this new Hurricane Charger.

Hurricane motor likely won't be worth a damn until at least its 2nd generation when they fix all of the things they didn't know needed to be done a certain way. They've got no experience in high output gas 6 bangers and they're going to have to learn all of the lessons the hard way.

They've got some lofty goals, but I think it's going to cost them reliability for a while. Oh and there is a new V8 coming.

I'm not a fan of the turn knob for the gear selector on the Dodge. I like a traditional gear shifter, a little old fashioned.

So we may see 2025 Rams on the lot before 2024 F150s?

I test drove both a new Ram E-torque Limited and Platinum 5.0. I hated the Mopar's over assisted steering. I like to "Feel" what's underneath me. The Rams make their assist to where you can steer it with your finger, but that's exactly what I DONT want. Mopar has been like this for decades. My wife likes that over assist, I don't.
