Redrock fender flares installed

Hey everyone. Just wanted to post some pics of these flares I installed today. Installation was pretty straightforward but there were a couple obstacles that were easily remedied.

I think they add to the overall balance of matte black items on the truck already. The black out package helps with that to.

What are your thoughts?

I haven't seen any trucks near me that have these but I do appreciate the comments on how I've personalized mine. Power steps are next I think.

Looks good! Hopefully they don't fade out like the oem ones on my 2012..always had to treat them with a vinyl dressing to get them back to looking decent. The bed caps and bumper covers on my recently purchased 2022 are already showing signs of fading. I don't understand why these manufacturers can't source a plastic that doesn't fade so quickly. I have started treating these with 303 aerospace protectant so hopefully that slows the fading.

Yeah, I noticed the black plastic on my truck fading when it is garaged almost all of its life.

Maybe just a little crazy lol. They look very similar. I'd say mine come out about 1/2" The rear pic I posted shows the best angle on depth.

Do they have texture/grain? I have been eyeing these to color match but I am trying to figures out if they will have texture to sand down for smooth painted finish.

These are very smooth and close to my lower trim panels under the bed. You can the difference in the pics from that and the grain in the side mirrors. Help this helps.

Yes, that does help. Looks like they will require sanding down the texture to achieve a smooth finish.

I went and bought the 303 UV protectant and applied some today. Gonna try and stay ahead of potential fading. Time will tell...
