Does this look normal? Seems like the liner (Front Passenger Side) should be attached better and closer to the bumper. I looked behind the liner and don't see how to attach it better. Does not look like anything is missing, but I really don't like how close the liner is to the tire. 2024 F-150 XLT (V8 Engine).

No. Looks like it’s been pulled out. The bottom screw should be in not way out

Okay. The bottom screw I believe you are referring to is actually screwed into a plastic bracket that is somehow attached to the vehicle. There are no brackets any lower to help pull the liner closer to the inside of the bumper. I took a long zip tie and was able to pull the liner closer to the bumper to where I think it should be. Looks 100 times better and should hold up. We shall see... Thanks!

Terrible design. It is attached to bracket that is flexible. Makes no sense.

Okay... Does your liner stick out like mine or does it seem closer to the bumper?

This seems to be normal on these trucks.. I also went with the zip tie to someplace back behind it. Pulled it back in nice.

I would look behind it to see if there is any damage from someone backing up and hitting the area.

Mine looks the same. Had the dealer "fix" it but nothing changed

Thanks for the advice. Nothing looks damaged, but I did not pull off the wheel or the wheel liner.

Thanks... At least I know it seems to be the way the truck was manufactured. The zip tie method works great (if you are interested).

I noticed the same thing on my '24 yesterday when changing out the grille emblem and adding the side vent lights. I thought this is a terrible design unless there was an issue. I did not find anywhere for it to go, except for the white plastic piece, but it didn't have a hole to screw into.. ?‍♂ I was going to post to ask about it but thought it was just me, so I didn't.

I also want to put some OE like fender flares and all vendors are saying "no drilling" but I don't find but 1 of the 4 screws they were talking about for everything to bolt on to. Might change my mind on this addition.

Could you add a few quick pictures of where you added the zip-ties? My truck has the same "feature" :).

Just reach in there and you will find something to attach the zip-tie to. In my case, I found a clip on the liner and a hole in the back of the bumper.

Thanks! Got mine zip tied out of the way to make room for some bigger tires.

My 23 sorta has this but not as bad as yours.

The whole screw thing with nothing to attach to also makes no sense to me.

I would expect some kind of clip to pull it snug...
