Vredestein Pinza AT. aggressive looking tread but little to no road noise. Stopped using snow tires since they were that good imo

I am going to try Nokian Oupost NAT. I have similar needs as you and they are fairly light so hoping they don’t change fuel mileage much. The topic says it all.
Thanks in advance !
I agree but they are hard to find locally. Added bonus important to me is these are being manufactured in the USA nowI am going to try Nokian Oupost NAT. I have similar needs as you and they are fairly light so hoping they don’t change fuel mileage much.
These Cooper Road & Trail are at the top of my current list. Added bonus Cooper is an American Owned Company rather than Asian owned - profits come back to the U.S. of A. Shocking how many tire manufacturers are imported - owned by Asian based companies. I was also looking at the Falcon Wildpeak AT4 but read they are Asian owned and manufactured as well.I am going to give you another tire to consider. I have the Cooper Road and Trail AT. So far, they have met my expectations, which are high. The Road and Trail AT have not had any hydroplaning issues and I have used them in up to 6” of snow in Western MD mountains without issue. They are quiet as well. I am totally satisfied so far. No tire is as good as Michelin Defender LTX MS2 in the rain and they are surprisingly good in the snow, no good off road. I have driven over 500K miles on the various Defender iterations and they have all been stellar in rain and quite good in snow.
the Coopers seem good in the rain, better in snow and certainly better off road. If I never went off road, I would have bought the Michelins, but I wanted better snow performance and better off road traction, which the Coopers offer.
I'm guessing the US grows its own rubber trees and uses local silica suppliers, along with tire manufacturing machines? Let's get real for one minute here. I think you meant the assembly is done in the US and many other facilities around the world., including China. These Cooper Road & Trail are at the top of my current list. Tirerack.com have them delivered to your installer. The price of the tires plus the shipping is probably gonna be less than your local tire dealer can you get them forI agree but they are hard to find locally. Added bonus important to me is these are being manufactured in the USA now
Discount Tire can, they are under the same corp. umbrella. They use a multi-link based SW system that can order stock from within TR warehouses, such as rims/tires/suspension.Tirerack.com have them delivered to your installer. The rubber comes from petrochemicals not rubber trees.I'm guessing the US grows its own rubber trees and uses local silica suppliers, along with tire manufacturing machines? Also, all truck tires have been made in China, since mid-2000.
I had awful luck with these. They were pretty decent for the first winter, but for the second one they were terrifying even though they had a lot of tread left. A friend had the same experience. Many sets of Cooper AT3 4S’s. Best A-T in my opinion. Excellent on all accounts asked about. Wear like iron. Maybe a little aggressive for my Lighting now, though.
