Rattle Glovebox Bolster

F150 2021 platinum. I have been fighting this terrible rattle (see video) and I cannot find exactly where it’s coming from. Opening or closing either upper or lower glove box warrants no change. Has anyone else had this and located the source?

If you put your finger on the little chrome strip on the media controls (volume knob, pause/play buttons, etc), does it go away? I have the same issue.

My STX has a rattle but its from the trim on the driver door NBD not very loud

I've had one in my 23 Platinum. Always assumed it was in the dash area just above the sliding door for the phone charger. I'll check this area out instead. Thanks!

I hope there is a TSB on this soon - my tremor does it too and it's getting annoying...

I wouldn’t hold your breath. TSB’s are for safety issues.

Yes…I had this same issue on my 2022 Platinum. Drove me nuts.

Took apart the dash trim just enough to remove the entire glove box and put 3M foamy/adhesive tape where the front “fascia” of the glove box is bolted onto the plastic door. 3 bolts to remove, but you can’t do this while it’s installed in the dash...

I messed around with the bolts on the plastic strip above the glove box door. Too tight and rattle. Had to find the sweet spot. Trial and error thing.

there are exceptions for sure. I don’t see this issue being one of them.

On my PB it was the panel to the left of the front passenger's feet.. on my previous chevy it was the one above the drivers feet... I think all vehicles have a few and you just have to be methodical and patient to track them down.
