This isn't in Texas, but this looks like exactly what you are looking for for. 302a with all your requested options....Hi there! New member, great forum you guys have built with tons of info. Thank you all for that. Hopefully someday I'll contribute something useful.
Anyways, looking to purchase a '24 PB XLT 4x4 w 302a, trailer tow package, and 7.2 onboard. Some nice-to-haves would be the bed package, FX4, bed liner.
My strategy is to wait until Nov/early Dec and pick up an outgoing '24 at a discount. As mentioned before, I'm flexible on just about everything except PB, 302a, the tow package, and 7.2 and am looking to bring it home for under $50k. Question is, am I shooting for the moon here with this goal? Also, I'm finding the combo of PB tow and 7.2 to be hard to come by in TX at the moment, any advice of good search methods to find that combo other than the typical car gurus/auto trader/car edge? Any help of advice is appreciated. Thanks
I believe 2022 was the last year for just the tow tech package. That is what I got on my 22 502a PB and since a lot of the HD features were already on the PB it was a good deal. Probably why they got rid of it.Perhaps it doesn’t exist anymore. My ‘22 302A PB 4x4 has it.
Google thinks it exists for ‘24 lol

This is an excellent strategy. I did this and the local dealer I purchased from actually offered to beat it by a few hundred bucks. This was for an order I placed with the dealership too. So I placed and order and got the pricing beat and made sure to have the store manager sign the order sheet. 2 months later the truck comes in. All my financing was done over the phone the day prior with my sales guy so when we went to the dealership it took 45 min to get in and out. Best transaction ever had with a vehicle purchase.I would use the build and price tool on the Ford website and spec out a truck as you'd like to have it. Forward those specs to Chip at Granger Ford and have him give you a price. This way, not only will you know the true cost of what you want, you'll also be able to compare deals locally and see if you can eek out the best deal you can if ordering is not for you. Welcome and good luck!
I don't get why some dealerships get butthurt and do this to some customers! You're like the 5 or 6th person that's mentioned this on dif. social sites.I still get a spam calls from the dealership every few months, 6 years later..
Is the average truck owner even spending 100k on a daily driven unit? You watch too many movies. You can carry 100k in your pockets and not look unusual![]()
Without this axle, you have to shear your own bolts at random times!and a semi-floating rear axle that shears bolts pretty regularly.
But it just doesn't have the panache of having an "associate" to carry it . . .You can carry 100k in your pockets and not look unusual![]()
I mean you can get it in 20s to 5x the volume of cash. Most of hollyweird just uses arbitrary amounts of "100s". Just watched a movie last week where they stole a mil w/ about 2.5mil worth of "100s". In a following scene they put ~250k worth of bills into bag for a $30k 'purchase'.But it just doesn't have the panache of having an "associate" to carry it . . .

100k is about 5" of bills. Kinda underwhelming, especially if they're sequential SNs

about 15 years ago, I had a full time contract as an in-house attorney. Not an employee; they hired my practice.100k is about 5" of bills. Kinda underwhelming, especially if they're sequential SN
Agreed.Even if you don't purchase new with Granger Ford (I used them and HIGHLY RECOMMEND), they still offer an excellent Ford-provided warranty plan. As everyone else has chimed in, spec out your dream vehicle, email @Granger Ford , and see the pricing that they can come up with. I saved ~$13K over the MSRP for my truck. They are incredibly great to work with.
