Powerboost whine and overheat while towing 6k

Is it just me or does it seem like every time someone opens one of these there are issues after. Maybe those who have had a transmission service (10R80MHT) like fluid and filter change or repair and all was done properly could post.

The hardest part is finding someone who can do it correctly.

It's possible...
My problem right now is that they don't want to open the transmission because they haven't seen the problem... they've seen my vid, but they want to see it by themselves. So right now they are only watching for Code on the computer or noise (which they can't replicate because they are not towing while they are testing my truck...)

Well hook up the trailer and take it back to them. Tell them to test it again. Ride along in the back seat. Make sure they know and hear it. If it needs the trailer to do it. Then take it all over to them.

Stealerships are like black holes ...know body really understands how they work, and they are really good at sucking your wallet dry! If they can't understand the issues after that, take it elsewhere.

When you are experiencing higher transmission temps, I'm wondering what your ambient peak air temperature is? We got to 34 Celcius here in Alberta where I live. I can't help but also wonder why it's not telling you your transmission temperature under the gage, my truck does that then I'm pulling a trailer and the temps start getting up there. I have a powerboost as well, that noise you have is the exact same noise my pump made before the transmission went.
I also want you to know that my transmission went in my 2023 with zero codes, not 1, it was acting up, I drove the 8 Km to Freedom Ford, they plugged in to the truck, it had no codes, the Shop Forman drove it, he got 5 Km away and the truck bricked on him right dead smack in the middle of the road at -30 below. If you want I can scan that work order on to this forum if you like.

it was overheating when it was between 22-25…

its not telling me the temperature because I have an xlt without the screen in the cluster.

I can pull Jean.Benjaminl's info on his truck and all the TSB's, SSM's and all that other stuff, I need a Vin though, l will e-mail the info back to him he can redact what he likes and post it on here if he wishes, I have helped several members on here before and given advice along the way. I can understand why he is hesitant to provide a stranger a Vin number though with all the fraud going on these days. I'm an officer of the courts in my normal line of work as well as a business owner, I would never wrong someone, I like helping people in any way I can.

Oh ok, thank you, but I already have the work order for my truck.

Good news, they called me back, saying that they will replace the auxiliary hybrid pump of the transmission. I think we'll see if it solve my problem!
