Although earlier model years had the CHMSL in various trim levels, in 2024 Ford limited it to the Platinums only.

The KR is available with Max Tow (if that matters to you.)

Massaging seats are included, max-recline are not.

Having been puttering around (and putting about 1,200 miles on the truck) over the past week, I'd be hard pressed to think of anything I missed or wanted from the factory.

I had a 15 platinum. Now have a 23 kr.
For my use, They are basically the same. Except the massaging seats. My wife was the only one who used them.

The KR is better value. I’ve had my ‘24 for about 2 months now and it’s great. There isn’t a single thing I’d want to add.
Still, if you can’t live with a brown interior, it’ll cost you nearly $7000 to get a Platinum with the same equipment that a KR has. As for a Lariat vs. KR (since nobody asked), if you spec’d a Lariat with all of the items that come standard in a KR, you’ll spend about $500 less for the Lariat and not have massaging seats, CCD, and something else that I’m forgetting.
Without a doubt, the KR is the best value for the higher trimmed trucks. Just buy one. You’ll be happy…if you can afford it…they are pricey.

IMO, I think Ford made a mistake discontinuing the unique KR wheels. I wouldn’t want those Platinum wheels on my KR.

Agreed.

I'd offer it depends on the color of the KR. - They look good on the white & red ones, passible on the AMB, and do-not-want on black or gray.

Be careful when ordering the higher level trims. I was on the Ford chat to ask why it has been nearly 8 months and I still don't have a build date. The below could be one or more of the below:

There are many features for the F-150 that may cause a delay in production: Auto Start/Stop
Active Park Assist (APA) 2.0
Multi-Contour Seats with Active Motion
Max Recline Seats
Carmelo Interior
Adaptive Steering
Raptor Interior (801A)
Connected Navigation and SiriusXM with 360L
Connected Built-In Navigation
Halogen Headlamps and Fog Lamps
Exterior Vehicle Badges
Heated Steering Reintroduction
Advanced Security Pack
Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp Camera
Pro Access Tailgate
Tie-Down Plates

Seriously considering pulling the trigger on one of these. 601A vs 701A, seems like the king ranch has more value between the sunroof and hud. Msrp was $10 different. Don’t care about looks, both are appealing to me. Any thoughts from those who’ve bought or considered either?
You don't give many details, but last I knew the plat was only available in black interior, not w/a 6.5' bed, and couldn't get a max tow. All bad things for me. YMMV

Who were you listening to on Ford Chat??? They should be fired, not just for saying this but for not knowing their own product. I am similarly embarrassed for you Bob. Being an engineer and not researching a little before posting this list is just bad form.
Ford removed and no longer has Adaptive Steering, Active Park assist (APA) 2.0, nor Carmelo interior on any 2024 F150. Also, all headlights on the F150 are LEDs. There is no trim level, not even the base XL that has halogen headlights. As for the Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp Camera (CHMSL), only the Platinum trim has that so I can't see it being too constrained since there aren't many of those being built compared to other trims (I kinda feel the same about the Raptor Interior that you have listed).
Your post is fake news, Bob.

Not sure why the pai t and bed have anything to do with Platinum or any trim. Other trims get other colors and bed lengths. Makes no sense.

This is what the chat person gave me. Just reporting Ford chat. I don't report like the fake media.

Your dealer has more visibility and knowledge about your specific order; whether they choose to look into it and advise is another matter. They can certainly see your priority code, if you've been previewed for scheduling, and speak better to the specific features that are likely delaying your build for that week.

I believe it is the trim and others add one. I ordered a Platinum with 702A and FX4. Spray in bed liner, PB, Retractable bed cover, BC, wheel well liners and front and rear flaps, window wind deflectors. I think some of these are holding up my build. Ford does not make many high end trims.
