That would be ironic if what we are looking for is in the SAE PID library. ??

So OZ mate, load them up and see if that Coyote wants to play Boost games. ?

I reported the issue to OBDlink and got a quick response from "Manny"

They describe the request as me asking for "universal search".
Which sounds like they understood the complaint.

I then described the issue with the search tool no longer seeing the entire PID description, including the "format" of the value the PID renders. Example: search for the character "%"
This previously would show all PIDs that report the integer as a percentage.

They responded that they checked my complaint and discovered that it works for SAE PIDs, but not for OEM PIDs. So they added that to the request.

It was a pretty efficient back & forth, so at least the customer has their attention. Now let's see if it really gets action. :)
You get 3 gold stars ? today
That was issue I keep running into
SAE pids stay..and getting oem ones loaded, is still issue
I have to reload the oe stuff about every other time. And scroll for days looking for right pid to use

I refuse the goldstars until we benefit from the effort. ?

I do have to brag though that I reported through the FordPass feedback tool a thorough description with screenshots explaining a "bug" in the "Charging History" section for the Lightning/Mach-E. I didn't use the feature to bitch and moan, but rather to show that the equation being used to tally the quantity of electrons being pumped into the HV battery was coded in error.

Could have been a coincidence, of course, but shortly thereafter the equation was corrected and the math became more credible.

I think we sometimes assume that support staff will know what we know. But maybe they won't until we inform them? Forest/trees thing?

If only FordPass would respond with such useful responses. All get is "coming soon."

Late to the party, but you got here!

I'm still amazed he (fordtruckman2003) sniffed that formula out using Forscan datastream. Those wireshark gurus are so clever.
