Pedestrian Sounder Delete (No Codes, Easily Reversible)

Does anyone know who makes the connector and has a part number? Not looking for a Ford part number, Ford doesn't make the connectors. For example, molex or Aptiv, etc?

Update: Found the OEM connector manufacturer. It's a Molex MX150, part number is 346750002 and the terminals can be found here: MX150 Blade Terminals or use part number 340800001 for 14-16 gauge wire.

I ordered enough of these to build a few delete plugs so please DM if you don't want to build one yourself.

Received it today and installed, very nicely put together package with photo instructions. @WillB17 nice job and @xtraman122 thanks for turning us on to this mod.

Now I can backup stealthily and run over as many pedestrians as I want without them knowing!

One problem though........The "thump-thump" and agonizing screams of driving over the first pedestrian will effectively warn the remaining upright pedestrians that perhaps there is a vehicle moving toward them. (Danger, danger Will Robinson!) So you would probably be "one and done" unless you were up to warp speed. My idea was to have a recording while in reverse of Gilbert Gottfried (the Aflac duck yelling voice) saying "son of a B****, I'm backing up here, get the F*** out of my way"

My CEL came on for a different issue so the truck was at the dealership last week....not a mention to me a about the Sounder delete from them!

Arrived and installed an hour later. Kinda weird having the buzzgroan gone but pretty sure I won't miss it anytime soon.

Those of you who found this a piece of cake to install must not be 250 lbs. And not have pudgy hands. The blue cover is somewhere on top of the frame or radiator support, but I couldn't find it. Dropped it 3 times before I wasn't able to retrieve it. If anyone has any tips for installing that, please share and I'll go look for it.

I use some long needle nose pliers and gripped the plug on a angle to place the plug into the speaker. Then used a flat blade screwdriver to push the plug into the sounder. I'm sure there are other options to hold the plug to prevent it from dropping into the abyss.

oh buddy, I'm a bit more girthy than you I did get a few hand scratches and dropped the blue cap about three times, but did my best Mr. Miyagi chopstick impression with my trigger and middle fingers to get it capped. lol.

I'd liked to have pulled the bolts on the radiator support to get it out of the way, but I couldn't see what was holding it in up top. I think someone mentioned doing that, but it made me think too much..

I'm going to have to unplug mine temporarily next week. After getting LINE-X, I'm getting the Rear Brake Assist Unavailable message due to the tailgate removal and it's going to the dealer next week for the TSB. The last thing I need for them to do is test it in reverse and question the speaker and/or the defeater and blame the issue on the mod. Don't want to give them any distractions.
