Yeah it seems like maybe due to chip shortages the ipma was cheaped out. Now they're trying to figure out with software to get it to work. They are trying to avoid a TSB to replace everyone's ipma physically....

I mean we bought them with the promise of BC.... Can't imagine they reneg on that....class action waiting to happen

My truck has 5500 miles and I only started noticinging this smell after having it at the dealer a couple weeks ago. It's come and gone and I figured the dealership would just tell me "can't duplicate, see ya". Can anyone duplicate it repeatedly or know where to smell to get the odor well known?

Ah yeah that's good there's something, but not enough for me. Again unless someone has a very specific regular need for the flat open space, I think for $200 it's a great feature.

A) how the heck do you know all of this...great info B) what you're describing really feels like why the older trucks aren't getting bluecruise. They shipped them with APIMs that can't do it, and they're struggling to get OTA updates to work on the older APIMs....
