I ordered the RC version back on June 7th 2022, before my truck was built and put on hold for months...is that still a thing?... I finally installed this afternoon after inheriting a boat this winter and several sessions of launching with everyone turning to see what the hell is going on I figured it was time.
The install was easy as everyone said and the truck is now silent but the remote doesn't turn the speaker on. I double checked the connections(reseated) Maybe the remote lost pairing? Anyone know how to re-pair the remote/if possible?

Update: I quickly received a reply from Will after posting with troubleshooting steps. I have to say MegaOhm really stands behind their products!
Now the only noise when backing up is the back up sensors while backing up the trailer to launch(disconnect the trailer lights due to non-led lights that probably aren't sealed all that well).

I ordered this back in 2021 for the 21 Platinum Powerboost and never put it on as I had the first "always off" version on. Just installed the remote version I ordered back in the day on a 2025 Platinum Plus. WOW, I should have switched sooner. I like the noise in the neighborhood with kids around but don't want it while hunting, or launching boats. Now I just need to order a new fuel door billet striker pin

I have a 2025 Lariat. I'm trying to install this by building my own kit.
I ordered the resistor and the pin kit( I now have 98 extra pins).
I did not get the extra plugs when I received my truck. I went to the Ford dealer, and none of the 25s had the plug kit in the glove box.
The kit I received with my 2015 had these plugs. They will not work with my 25.
I need the mate to the grey plug in my photos.
The same grey plug that came in my 2015 kit is the same plug that is on my truck harness now that plugs into the speaker. I need the mate to that plug to plug my resistor setup into it.
Does anyone have the part number for the male side of the grey plug?

I just ordered the switchable unit last week. I like the back up beep part of the sounder. I despise the “George Jetson engine sound”

Hi all new to this forum after getting a '22 KR Powerboost with only 35K km. First truck and first hybrid. Quite happy with it. Some quirks but so glad there are lots of mod possibilities.
The mandatory reverse beep and amplified simulated motor sound was the first annoyance.

The MegaOhm RC kit is awesome. Highly recommended. Easy to install and effective. Wife wants it on, I want it off. Click of a button. Great suggestion to pair remote with HomeLink on the visor too.

Great to hear……I’ve had the sounder delete for a while now. Decided to get the remote control kit.
Same reasons as you, wife likes it.
