I'm dead ass serious @tonesto7 . I parked my truck in my garage like I always do, but this time I turned the lights to "off" from auto and walked away. Seriously 3 mins later I get 4.2.1 in my Fordpass app. I even had @rugedraw check my VIN early in the day on PTS and nothing was there.

Well, I just got 4.2.1 two hours ago and my headlights were on auto. Several people have reported getting 4.2.1 today on here and on f150forum. They are pushing it out to a different batch of VINs today.

Edit: Gas tank at 50%. Parking brake off. Locked with the keypad and the keys inside the truck.

Yeah honestly I think it was just a monumental coincidence that it happened the way it did. I've never turned off my lights and I've gotten plenty of OTA's. The timing of it all was just too good to pass up though, and let's be honest I'm going to turn off my lights anytime I know there are OTA's floating around out there now.

I guess I can add my anecdotal experience: I park in the garage in Wi-Fi range, set parking brake make sure my headlights are off. If I’ve not driven much on goes the charger. Then I say my prayers and go to bed.

Nothing. I’m on 2.7.3.

Maybe I’m praying wrong and perhaps I should reach out to Ford for proper devotions.

Reaching out to Ford will yield you no results. Don't waste your time. All you will get is fluff. They will tell you do exactly what you've been doing. It is common knowledge that none of those things will help you receive an OTA trigger.

I had just under ½ tank, didn't do anything in the stickied thread or any other suggestions on how to get an update, and I got what I'm assuming it's 4.2.1 last night. The link in the FordPass app isn't working and I didn't tap the update icon in my truck when I got to work to see either.

Link in the Fordpass app was broken for me and many others have said the same thing.

I’ve tried all of this, multiple times, no such luck or success. Ironically enough, hopping on one leg while patting my head and rubbing my belly in a counterclockwise motion while singing "Kumbaya" all at the same time didn’t work either. I’m up for more suggestions. Thanks in advance.

My suggestion is two fold.

1. Just breath. Wait. Be patient. (10 ways to say the same thing)

Or?

2. Get your hands on a Mongoose adapter and catch up yourself.

I'm curious, does you Auto Stop/Start work?
Reason I'm asking is because most de-activate it. I leaves it active and shut it off manually once I know it works, it's a good indication for me that my battery is up to task.

I didn't get my last OTA until I charged my battery since my current battery SOC wasn't high enough.

I have a new H7 to replace it but with the latest OTA's rolling out for the 21' I wanted to see what happened. A good battery is the only difference between getting an OTA or not. ?‍

As far as I know it works. Every time I stop it kicks into electric mode? I got an update the first of April for 2.7.3. But that’s when I bought the truck. Not sure how long it had been available and previous owner just never updated. Maybe one day I’ll say the hell with it and go the mongoose route but that seems like a lot for me to try and take on. Thanks for the feedback.
