With every oil change, I've always had problems refilling the oil without spilling it all over the engine. 5-quart jugs and a crappy funnel led to a mess for me every time. I've been in search of a better funnel for re filling the engine when doing an oil change, and I found this on Amazon, for $17.00. Yes, pricey for what it is, but it beats cleaning up the garage floor day after day as it runs down the engine. The description doesn't list the 5.0 but I can confirm it does fit. It's very snug, locks in with a 1/4 turn and doesn't leak a drop. Apparently, it fits most other Ford engines as well that have the 1/4 turn filler cap. If you do your own oil changes it might be worth the investment.
I'm not trying to sell this and have no personal involvement with this company. Just sharing something that helps make life easy.

That is perfect.. will be ordering. Hate trying to hold a funnel and a 5 quart jug, then waiting for the funnel to drip. This looks great for watching oil drip while enjoying an adult beverage.

So right about that! Instead of having that jug go glub, glub, glub all over your engine! You can have a cold one and watch it go down. ?

Several versions that appear to be identical on-line. I recently bought this one in case anyone wants to price shop over time.

I can confirm that it fits on my '24 PowerBoost, though I had to press down slightly before it engaged the quarter-turn threads. For such a predictable job, I am too old to not have the proper tool(s) anymore.

That would actually be handy! I have not seen one or heard of one like that. It would make the oil change go smoothly especially if you do it by yourself!

Thank you for sharing!

This will be in my card and ordered soon. Nothing worse than spilling oil and then the embarrassing smell when you pull up somewhere.

I have one, fits great and looks great on my shelf as I forget about it every oil change.
I have an old Harbor Freight tool bag that currently holds the funnel, filter wrench, and a couple of FL500s filters. It sits on the shelf next to the oil. Not saying that I can't still screw it up, but trying to make it as idiot-resistant as practical.
