Guess I will add my 2 cents worth. Hey Ford, just because you think it is prettier to look at sucks. With the previous version all the info I needed was available. Now? Well I won't repeat the list of features no longer available. The layout of the new vs the previous version just isn't user friendly, do you guys even Beta test these updates before you push them out?

No worries, according to Ford.

"If you notice a feature you previously used before is no longer there, don’t worry, the feature can still be accessed via your in-vehicle touchscreen." ? ?
Hmmm. Wonder if that's enabled at speed?????? forscan change I see coming?
The explorer shows right now
No miles, no tire pressure, just blank grayed ovals

I agree, don't like it. My truck has 215 miles and Ford thinks I need to plan my next oil change. The fuel level is gone replaced with just range. Guessing that is because Electric vehicles only have range. Without the mileage, range with worthless without MPG. Also it doesn't appear Ford knows my recommended tire PSI. As it is blank.

I logged on and brought me to the new update BUT gave me the option to switch back to the previous version, which I had.

My beef is with Fordpass Rewards. EVERY TIME I get another new Ford, the rewards never reflect and I have to chase them for weeks on end. I have 9 Fords on my app and I would think they'd be keen to keep a repeat customer happy.
Re: your first paragraph. I never saw any option to switch back to the previous version.

Hi F-150 owners! If you recently updated your FordPass® app, you may have noticed it looks a little different. We are pleased to share that we have rolled out a newly designed app.

It is easy to use and efficient, reducing the number of steps it takes to access functions to help you better manage your vehicle remotely. Also, instead of having to hold down a button to turn the vehicle ‘on’, this is now a simplified slider.

Additionally, if you have an Apple Watch, along with lock/unlock and remote start/stop, you will also be able to use the following features from your wrist:
  • Activate horn and lights remotely
  • View vehicle location
  • View fuel level and range, for gasoline-powered vehicles
  • View fuel level, battery and range, as well as total combined, for hybrid vehicles
We are also continuing to improve in-app experience with this latest version. If you notice a feature you previously used before is no longer there, don’t worry, the feature can still be accessed via your in-vehicle touchscreen.

We love to hear from our owners so let us know what you think and if you have any questions about FordPass!

Please note: FordPass® App, compatible with select smartphone platforms, is available via a download. Message and data rates may apply.

This might be Ford's attempt at integrating software updates entirely using AI, but it's certainly an example of what shouldn't happen. Pathetic to say the least.

It looks like the option to revert to th previous version is no longer there, it truly feels like a poorly rolled out beta kit. I’m trying to find out why usedul features like zone lighting is no longer there. Turning it on only through the UI in the truck is like advertising remote start from the same UI. Pointless, please Ford, put the humans back in charge.

@Ford Motor Company Are you listening?

Do you get it yet?

You took away meaningfully useful features and replaced them with nothing.

Somewhere, someone had a motivation to make these changes. It is not an improvement. Not for us anyway.

This rollout is a failure.

The quicker you get that and fix it, however you do that, the better.

How come you are in this forum but did not do a survey on what actual owners would want on an app before you updated it?

With so many (most)not liking the new version wouldn't you think Ford would have at least come back on here and posted why all the deletes and changes? It feels like they don't give a s#it about there customers. Or did some Ai computer make all the changes and no real person even knows what's going on.
