  1. Aftermarket Cold Air Intake- worth it?

Doing a CAI is like getting a nose job, looks better for a short while, no increase in airflow and is something to tell your buddies about.. That really is it.

  6. 2023 5.0 shift flare and trans oil level

Yeah, I did. It’s always doing it at the same rpm, so I’m wondering if it’s just a sticky valve.
  7. 2023 5.0 shift flare and trans oil level

Hi everyone, Lately I’ve been having this strange flair going from 3-4, in “normal” mode. Doesn’t seem to be there in “sport” mode, for some reason. I’ve read the CDF drum issues, but mine way built 7/2023, so assuming it has the new drum in there. I checked my trans oil level, it looked...
  8. For the 3.31 haters

Thank you, that helps a lot. Very glad to hear that, I’m also gentle in the truck. I wasn’t aware the trans tune was modified, I’d read elsewhere that it wasn’t altered with the tune, so that’s great news.
  9. For the 3.31 haters

Getting mine soon (Whipple), how do you find the transmission with your setup? I’m not a fan, but hoping things don’t go pear shaped after the Whipple. Thinking of maybe getting a trans tune if needed, at that point.
  10. For the 3.31 haters

I’m resolving my 3.31 perceived (or real) performance issues out with a whipple 3.0. I still think the shift schedule is the real issue with these trucks, if they could fix that, there’d be a lot less complaints.
  11. Upfitter switch-Boosted greygoose harness help!

Yeah, I’m just curious where that wire goes. Install was a breeze, but about half of it was trying to figure out that wire.
  12. Upfitter switch-Boosted greygoose harness help!

Got feedback, sounds like I needed to unpin the 23 pin and use the one from the harness. Curious where that original green and orange one wire actually goes..
  13. Upfitter switch-Boosted greygoose harness help!

Hi, can anyone help me with a question please. I’m installing the boosted gg harness and don’t have pin 23 available on connector 2280C, which is flagged in the instructions from GG. Only 24 and 25 is open, can anyone help me identify another location that that pin can safely be plugged into...
  14. CERATEC Liquid Moly - Experience

I’m afraid correlation does not imply causation, but let’s say this is true in this case. Why wouldn’t every engineer in the anutomo industry make this change…they spend millions on air dam skirt tunnel testing, intake designs that decrease pumping losses and improve efficiency by fractions of...
  15. CERATEC Liquid Moly - Experience

The internal friction of the engine is the only efficiency fuel improvement that any friction modifier additive can influence. Negating all other assumptions, let’s says it had 100% improvement in that area. The main bearings are already floating on a film of oil, so no real benefit...
  16. CERATEC Liquid Moly - Experience

Are you suspecting the improvement in fuel economy is due to the additive and not just the usual reduction in internal engine friction usually experienced within the few thousand miles?
  17. Active Air Dam Warranty Refusal

Where about you based? I have one available, I’m BC based.

  20. F150 Upfitter/Aux switches help!

For sure, I’ll update here. Also going to try the new Whipple 3.0 stage 2. Hopefully this doesn’t end up costing me more than the Raptor R!
