New Power-Up OTA Update 4.2.4

I'm pretty sure my truck is going to install this tonight or tomorrow. When I hit update details on my way home in my truck, it showed details for 4.2.4. Still nothing in FordPass though.

But now I am one of those entitled twitts he is talking about who expects things to work. After 8 months of using my phone in my vehicle heavily for work without problems making calls I get an "update" and suddenly I can't make an outgoing call without first calling the number, not being able to hear anything, hanging up and having my phone redial. My wife has learned that if I call she just calls me back and I can hear her. Seems like in vehicle calling has been around since 2005. Android auto calling has been around since 2015. Not sure why I have to delete android auto and reinstall it every time Ford updates something. Had this problem earlier with my music and android auto. I use android auto flawlessly in my wifes Chrysler. Not sure what the difference is. SO Cmon FORD. Waaah, waaaaaaah!!! BooHooooo...... I am up to 4.2.4

I have the same issue but it doesn't manifest every time..

When it does happen, on my phone, I go to using the phone speaker and then touch the Bluetooth icon immediately and it connects to the truck..

So, when I see that the phone is not connected to the truck, I touch the speaker icon and then immediately the Bluetooth iocn on my phone and it connects..

While inconvenient, it works every time and I don't have to hang up and call again..

i just drove a 50 or so mile trip to other town . even sat idling at brookshires and no updates

I just got 4.3.2 yesterday. Only 3/4 full of fuel... But I compensated with three clicks of my ruby red slippers to get everything to work!

I went out and moved the truck 15 feet so I could trickle charge without an extension cord.
Before I could even log into PTS to see if I could watch the progress, the "campaign Successful" tag had already been posted.

It's either feast or famine with OTA. Lol

Feast or famine indeed. For you coming up is 4.3.2 and it seems to need more distance than 15 feet. I am in the middle of a road trip and got OTA 4.3.2 after a 200 mile leg yesterday.

Curious how some are getting OTAs bang, bang bang and others are still being ignored.
