New Power-Up OTA Update 4.2.4

A few people reported getting it yesterday. I got 4.2.3 yesterday, so if all goes the way things have been going, I'll be seeing this OTA in the next few days.

Just got 4.2.4 on my Job 1 2021. Everything working great. Have not noticed any significant change with any of the 4.x.x. updates.

What are you looking for in brake regent? (4.2.4 is a TCU update)
I monitor brake regen pretty closely and I haven't seen anything change over the last few updates. (I'm at 4.2.2)

I would think it would require at least a PCM update. And perhaps BCM & ABS?

3.5.3.2 was most likely sent to your truck already (maybe more than once) and failed. That update has a very high failure rate. Post or PM me your VIN and I can check your OTA history.

Received this update last night, then checked in PTS. It was a TCU update only, which aligns with 4.2.4 in the wiki.

Thanks Rug, can you post a SS of the details? I still am not a fan of getting updates, just to get updates.

I haven't gotten this one yet. I would need the VIN of someone that got it to post what PTS shows. However, with this update, you get:

"Added In-Vehicle Voice Feedback to share instant feedback with Ford."

So basically, you get to record a voice message to send to Ford where you can verbally abuse them.

This could be VERY handy...

I'm also willing to bet the feature quietly disappears in a future update.

I didn't notice any updates, but it was nice to open the FP app today and the banner that said "Plugged in Not Charging" is gone.

My 5.0 is happier now.

I've got some of those as well. The skipping for me happens once for less than a second, then doesn't come back until the truck is restarted. The black maps screen is the most common issue I have. I usually have to hit the home button then go back to AA to rectify it.

I think that's just as good as AA gets

The app was updated the other day, independent of the OTA updates.
