She using the Lightning as a power source. It can provide more current than the PB.would you mind to send the video in a direct message for me I missed that post ?
interesting, be interesting to find out why and if there's a work aroundi have been in contact with them this morning. The ProPower setup in our F-150 is not compatible with this setup, per Global Power support.
I was hoping it would. Does anyone have one that works with the 7.2kw ProPower system?
Isn't that the definition of the Democratic party?all residents as dependent on the government as possible.
I actually got my 22 PB (7.2kw) with the the goal of making sure it does not have any catastrophic new truck failures. We are planning to boondock this year in the remote areas of the US which would allow us to power a 25 Travel Trailer. Not to mention the unplanned hurricanes & snow/ice storms that have popped up we couldn't have been happier with the performance. I just back up top the house and run a 50ft 10/3 into the foyer and create 3 extensions off the main (2 fridge/1 entertainment system & misc power strip). Not sure if I would buy it if I didn't have a specific purpose in mind but s**t happens as you said. Not sure if anyone follows the CA news but it has been a s**t show here the last few days. Fire burning down entire cities and electrical blackouts everywhere. Luckily for me and my family, I was hit with the latter of the two.
Whole town went dark - all businesses closed due to no power. Couldn't even pump gas.
Anyway, getting passed the sob story, I never thought I would actually use the Pro Power generator my truck came with but here we are. Powered up the wifi, tv, fridge, and a couple lights. I have an all new appreciation for this truck.
Side note - CA actually wants to ban gas generators. That has got to be one of the dumbest decisions I could think of.
Probably not much more than charging a phone or plugging in a laptop.Mine only has 400 watts.
What on earth could that be useful for? I tried a leaf blower but nope.
But you have plenty of power to charge your car so not all is lost. ?Not sure if anyone follows the CA news but it has been a s**t show here the last few days. Fire burning down entire cities and electrical blackouts everywhere. Luckily for me and my family, I was hit with the latter of the two.

Here we go again.. incoming!!!!!!You can’t us
you can’t use these interlock kits without losing your grounding system in your house. To do it correctly install a neutral switching transfer switch
???Here we go again.. incoming!!!!!!
I don't have my powerboost yet, but I use my outlets to power portable coolers when we travel/camp. Works great for that.Mine only has 400 watts.

Yeah 400W is rather useless. I can’t even think of a power tool that low.Probably not much more than charging a phone or plugging in a laptop.
Fun fact: I've used mine a few times to vacuum the truck without messing with an extension cord and discovered my shop vac pulls 1200w
Mine isn't a Powerboost, so what I figure the only use case for this is charging batteries for power toolsI don't have my powerboost yet, but I use my outlets to power portable coolers when we travel/camp. Works great for that.
