Navigation Stuck on loading after 4.2.3

Hi,

I received 4.2.3 yesterday now my navigation fails to ever load it just says Maps loading. I seem to have GPS, I have the arrow icon and the up and down icon in the top right corner, I can also locate my truck in Fordpass. I tried a soft reset and master reset to no avail. Also my phone list is unreadable. Has anyone seen this issue before .

mine does that too sometimes, what i did was toggle to either phone or music and then back to navi, that usually solved the issue for us.

same for me. Noticed maps would not always load since update but did the toggle and then the maps would display.

The same for me after the update. went to something else then back and it loaded. Good luck guys. maybe the next update they can fix that. Our trucks are like iPhone updates! LOL

Have you tried pulling the fuse and letting the APIM power down for 15 minutes or so? Fuse 15, passenger footwell (BCM) fuse panel.

I'm at 4.2.4 and just noticed the Ford nav clocking on load up today. Bit annoying but I rarely use it. It wasn't doing it a few days ago. So perhaps its a bit more widespread.

Yes just recieved 4.2.4, this morning. Didn't fix anything. Tried reset, pulling Apim fuse. Even disconnecting battery. Everything else works but I paid for the navigation. Tried cycling connected services. I paid subscription so it sucks it doesn't work. I use AA anyway but still.

Called Ford, according to them they say everything looks fine software wise. So they advised diag at dealership to see if it's a hardware issue.

Since it just started after a new update, I suspect it’s a software or configration issue. Not likely that your APIM just decided to crap out. But maybe a PMI or a reload of your as-built could help.

One last thing to try, although I’m not optimistic. Delete your phone from Sync and then reboot (hold down power and forward (seek) buttons simultaneously). Will it reboot normally if there’s no saved phone for it to try to connect to?

I'll see if it wants to work later today, and tomorrow when I'm heading to NY. Sometimes, a bit of patience is needed with these systems.

I'm not sweating out its non functionality, even though I'm half way through my 3 year "contract".

Yes I tried that it reboots fine, but still no navigation

I'm having the same issue with Navigation after the 4.2.1 OTA update. I'm also having another issue where SiriusXM is stuck on loading. I wonder if related.

Navigation still hasn't returned, I noticed as well hitting my backup camera button does nothing, but it does work in reverse
