Beautiful build, impressively quick for a N/A Coyote! Like all the interior mods as well!
Thank you sir! It has been a fun progression and I have more updates on the horizon.

Question, do you think it would run quicker with the stock 17" steel poverty stars and some drag radials?

Yes, I have data for swapping steel for aluminum wheels on stock tires. The stock steel (holes with the dish center cap) weigh a few pounds more than the aluminum (6 spoke) wheels.

Drag radials will help a bit off the line for sure but will probably cost you a little mph on your trap speed.

Looks great. I'm currently looking for drag wheels! Lol
:)

I am planning to turn my stock 17’s into truck star wheels.

Let me know how bad the 22s slow you down!

I didn't explain my question well. What I should have said is, do you think your truck would run quicker with the steelies vs what you have on there now?

Might surprise you. They’re pretty light (29 lbs) for 22x10’s. I should still be in the 11’s if I pull the usual weight out

but

That’s an uphill battle since the weather is getting warmer daily..

I noticed a difference in mine just from braking over the stock steelies. Not much but a little

I didn't explain my question well. What I should have said is, do you think your truck would run quicker with the steelies vs what you have on there now?
Stock steelies with 32" DRs will be quicker than larger wheels/tires with 33" diameter. It's not just mass, but where the mass is. Also the 32" tire diameter changes the effective gear ratio. A 33" tire with a 3.73 gear ratio becomes effectively a 3.85 with a 32" tire (In my truck w/ 3.73s, going to a 34.1" LT tire changed my effective ratio to ~3.6 and cost me .2 seconds -0-60). If it were strictly a drag racing vehicle the optimal results could come down to if another gear change occurs before the end of run.

Ai explanation....
In drag racing, a 17" wheel with a 32" tire can yield faster trap times than a 20" or 22" wheel with a 33" tire due to two key factors: reduced rotational inertia and increased effective gear ratio.
  1. Reduced Rotational Inertia: A 17" wheel with a 32" tire positions the tire's mass closer to the axle's center compared to larger 20" or 22" wheels. Since rotational inertia (moment of inertia) depends on both mass and its distance from the axis of rotation, a smaller wheel reduces inertia. This allows the engine to accelerate the wheel-tire assembly more quickly, improving acceleration and trap times, especially critical in the short distances of drag racing.
  2. Increased Effective Gear Ratio: A 32" tire has a larger overall diameter than a typical tire on a 20" or 22" wheel (assuming the 33" tire has a similar or slightly larger diameter but less sidewall height). The larger diameter increases the effective gear ratio, meaning the car covers more distance per engine revolution. This effectively "lengthens" the gear, allowing higher speeds at the same RPM, which can boost trap speeds at the end of the run, provided the engine has enough power to handle the taller gearing.

Its that bad with just the MBRP catback?
The 4 inch can be annoying on a drive. Drone is the issue. And that is with the cats in place.
