You have to top them up in winter. I'd bring up pressures in the 2-3 PSI below factory 'cold' even for winter. Do you monitor it throughout your drive? I couldn't see those coming up to 'warm' pressures which can hit 40 psi or better.
In my case, this morning the ambient air temperature is 44F and FordPass says all four tires are 35PSI. What ambient temperature range are you using to set your cold start pressure 2-3 below factory? Should I reduce the cold start PSI in my tires?

No, set your tires to 35 psi cold and leave them there. You would only drop your cold pressure if you were rock crawling or out on the beach.

This truck has more crappy electrical gremlins than Windows ME did…
I can not for the life of me figure out how the hell to make this nonsense - tires are not low - stop…

please tell me there’s some menu setting somewhere to turn this off and that I don’t have to do the nonsense press start without foot on brake, press hazard 6 times, etc etc.

Your tires are low. The truck set point is 35 psi, when your tires drop a certain psi below that, it triggers a warning. Air up your tires, running them low has no advantages unless you are rock crawling or driving in soft sand. Even then you would air them up.

Set them at 35psi. Cold. If you don't want as much psi variation due to ambient tempts, go and have them filled with nitrogen instead.

No, that's the minimum cold cold pressure. As in outside overnight below freezing, that's the pressure floor before the sun comes up. As soon as the sun comes up and starts warming a tire it can jump 2 psi. Personally I find factory 36psi too soft and run at 39 (powerboost runs higher pressure). The LT tires I have based on their load chart run at 42psi. I have onboard and air and will air up if a load warrants it.

I wish it was optional...
Aired up and message is gone.
I guess a significant part of my confusion in the initial post is the error the truck shows has all 4 at the same PSI but only 2 show errors.
Add to that the constant infotainment crashes and other rando gremlins and I assumed it was some bug vs actually low air!

my bad on that - but the alert was wrong not lighting all 4 up.

Thanks all

Does the error come up right away, or after 20ish minutes? If there is the delay then I think this is caused by the on-board generator causing interference with the wireless communication of the sensors, there is a TSB for this (they basically add a ferrite core to the generator wiring to prevent the interference). This would explain the error on only 2 of the 4 tires.

If you set your tire pressure to 35psi at 65 degrees ambient, and the next day it's 20 degrees, you're missing over 3psi of pressure. During spring and fall it's not uncommon to see 40+ degree differences overnight which would result could result in up to a 4psi indicated missing overnight. In the case of just being driven, you could see it be 38psi when parked and the next morning it's showing 31psi. Just food for thought.

powerboost runs higher pressure
Are you saying YOU run higher pressure in your PowerBoost or...?

Because my sticker says 35 psi.

My PB is 35 with the OEM tires, but I swapped them for A/T tires with different load ratings that need 44 psi for the same GVWR

My guess, 2 of the tires were lower, but due to rounding and decimal places not being displayed, they all showed 29 psi. Two that are highlighted could have been at 28.5, the other two at 29.4.

While that's a decent and logical guess... I think it's wrong. sometimes it would show 2 yellow, sometimes 1 and usually not the same 2. Ohh - and before you think what I thought - maybe the pressure is floating around... I let a bunch of air out of the front right before filling home - drove - got the alert - and that one was NOT a yellow one. It's just nonsense in the display.

Honestly - I like my truck but the software in it is so bad... (the number of times the big touch screen goes dead, hangs, won't respond, does a full on crash and reboot when driving is insane) So glad all these manufacturers are focusing on "software services" as a new revenue stream. The infotainment is so shitty I would actually pay Ford to NOT have it. Saw GM is killing the ability to use Car Play in favor of their trash...

Can't wait for the coming future to pay monthly for the right to have a heated seat... that won't work anyhow because the software crashes, well.. . everything but the billing part I'm sure.
