Anyone have a good way to clean out the leaves that get trapped between the bed and cab of the truck?

Leaf blower and garden hose wouldn't do it. Driving down the highway won't blow them out. Thinking I might try sliding some rope down.

Any products out there to seal off the top of that gap (2022 F150)?

Thanks

Go under the truck and reach up. Been there, done that. Got the T shirt.

My mistake was using a leaf blower to clean the bed out of leaves/grass. I'll never do that again. Pitch fork!

Ah, I have one of those fan things!

Need to mount some kind of deflector to block off the majority of the opening w/o scratching the cab. Maybe a flexible strip that attaches to the cab and bed with double sided tape.

Consider how the bed / cab on the sides is done, they basically just attach a soft rubber cover that close up the gap. If you find a thick enough piece of rubber like a semi truck mud flap or rubber mat, fold it over like an upside down U and shove it in.

Could you possibly use the curling iron from the passenger seat and grab the leaves between the cab and the box. :ROFLMAO: Sorry not very helpful but I know the issue, happens every fall, I also get small branches in between as well from the tree next door.

Was able to do it with a 5/16" dowel .... until it broke. Then changed to a fiberglass snow stake (about the same diameter). It was packed!

Have only owned the truck for a short time but thats BS. Seals on the side and a seal on the bottom (open just enough on the bottom to fish the dowel through) but no seal on the top. I have some soft foam rubber that will definitely go into that top gap.

Thanks

Rob

A gallon of gas and a match would solve your problem. No more leaves.
If he's got a PB, it'll just catch on fire itself. No need to worry about the leaves...

... Or you could do nothing and wait. With the rain, snow decomposition etc... it will self clean
