load up pro power in generator mode with sufficient draw to keep the ice running?
I’m with you … I was under the impression that turning on generator mode would keep the ice running. But that’s just supposition on my part.

Generator mode doesn't require, therefore won't force ICE to run continuously unless the load on the generator is sufficient.

Powering my RV, for example, isn't enough unless I intentionally run enough load against it.

my weird out of the circle question
why would calibrating the 360 require the engine to be idling
if battery is basically running everything the system setup should see vehicle as on and running
right

You can charge the EV with an appropriate EVSE to keep it running ;)

I have a need to keep my ice running at an idle for a test procedure. It keeps shutting off like normal. I know i can press the gas peddle but I can't keep it a idle. Lowest is 1200rpm with gas peddle. I turn on heat, fan on high, lights on. I try to load system up so engine comes on but it still shuts off after a short time. I need to have it idle for a couple minutes.
remote start your vehicle via your Ford Pass App & hit the extend time button on the screen. It adds up to 9 additional minutes

That's part of what I'm trying to fix. I can't remote start. Truck is going into battery saver mode immediately after shutting off the truck. Makes no sense because my battery is showing 13+ volts. Battery saver mode disables remote start.
