As I continue to poke around, more and more seems to be dropped entirely from various trims!

Just how much has quietly vanished from the 2025 KR?

Just offhand,

1) a thread a few days ago had a dealer stating that max recline will not be available in Job 2, contrary to order guide.

2) I've been perusing the order guide and online configurator, and see no sign of the variable/adjustable suspension from last year (and I want the 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood drive mode, please!)

3) I can't find a direct answer as to whether the active parking assist is gone from this trim or not. I've found references to it being dropped on smaller vehicles, and no direct statement that it's part of 360 for F-150 in 2025.

So how much of this is true? And what else is quietly missing?
This is classic shrinkflation. Delete things to reduce their cost but yet prices don't go down.

Until sales drop, Ford will continue this practice. Unfortunately we all just sound off on forums, but continue to pay, so Ford will continue this trend

I have another horror story on my 2025 King Ranch this week. I wanted to put box links in my bed. My 2023 King Ranch had them in already so when I got the truck home cannot fine them call the salesman asked were they were he says not stanearest any more. So I order from ford and $100 later I received them. Go to install them don’t fit bed plates. So check with dealer and ford knew they had trouble in 2024 trucks but still put them in. So had to find plates that were right, had to order from dealer another $70. Had to find dealer who had them because none are on national back order.

I lucked out and got the old plates in my 2024 so I moved my box links from my 2021 to 2024 after the Line-X bedliner was installed.

I am definitely buying my 2024 F150 at lease end!

Unless I missed something, 'Active Park Assist' hasn't been available on F150s since early 2022 (starting with chip shortage).
My ‘22 is a job 2 and came with Active Park Assist. May have been one of the last to get it before the chip shortage hit.

My 24 KR didn't come with the boxlink. But I have the old plates and cleats from the 22 XLT 302a I traded for the KR. The 22 didn't come with boxlink, either. The plates and cleats I have are from the 2019 XLT 302a I traded for the 2022. The 2019 had the bed utility package. Luckily, I noticed the 2022 didn't have that option, so I removed the plates and cleats before trade in to install myself on the 22.

When I test drove the KR, luckily I noticed that even though the KR has the BUP, it did not have the boxlink. So, I removed them from the 2022 before the trade. Now I am just waiting for warmer weather to install them.

Pro Access is ford’s new tailgate that’s opens up without opening the whole tailgate; good for camping and all but RAM did this first lol so ford is late to the party as usual. Here’s a pic of Ford’s Pro Access tailgate. I’m not a fan of it and still will always choose the integrated step over this all day—all my trucks including the ‘24 Lariat had it and my ‘24 Raptor has it too.

As for deletes and all, will always continue to happen however—Ford knows with millions+ customers; people will still buy Ford regardless. It is what it is.
That trailer hitch is going to leave one hell of a dent in the leg.
